Perfectly located hotel in the centre of Glasgow, overlooking St George's Square - walking distance of department stores, designer stores, Merchant City, coffee bars, The Corinthian and train stations, City Tour buses - not forgetting Weatherspoon Counting House. Have stayed here at least twice a year for the last 5 years and found it's the best location if you want... more

I stayed at the Millenium hotel last week and had a ball. The rooms were small but adequate. I enjoyed dinner in the twilight and the staff were pleasant. The hotel is centrally located and easy to find ideal for a business trip. Glascow is a vibrant city with lots to do and see. more

We arrived at the hotel for a weeks business trip. Although the reception area is lovely and modern, the rooms were outdated and dirty. The room was on the corner and had huge windows which had no net curtains and faced an office block. They left me feeling very exposed. Also the noise from the 2 main roads kept me... more

We had an enjoyable stay. Our room faced the Square so we had a good view of the city. Our double room (414) was a good size, clean but basic - there was no fridge. A bit unfortunate as we had one of the warmest couple of days in Scotland and it would have been nice to have some cold... more

The first thing that strikes you with the Millennium is how great the location is. Everything is within walking distance so if you don't intend spending much time in your hotel, this place is great. We travelled with a baby so that wasn't really an option. The rest, whilst not really bad enough to justifiably complain, left me a bit... more

We stayed here for a birthday treat for me paid for by my hubby as I love shopping in Glasgow. Its in a great location and literally next door to the train station. All the shops and pubs/bars/restaurants are on the doorstep. Our main issue was that we were told check in was at 2pm and we were still waiting... more

I stayed in the Millennium Hotel for a week, on business. The initial experience was great; helpful staff, quick checkin, pleasant reception area, and a good bar/restaurant. Upon arriving in my room, however, I started to become progressively less impressed. Our room rate was the "standard" room, at between £90 and £140 over the week's stay, and advertised on the... more

You just can't beat the location right in the city centre. If you want a modern clean hotel don;t stay here. This is an old Victorian building with all the attendant problems - but funnily enough I quite liked it. The public areas are nice; the staff charming; the broadband connection in the room worked easily. But at £20 a... more

My friend and I stayed at the Millennium Hotel for a weekend theatre break. We had a club room which was very clean and pleasant and overlooked George Square. The only negative thing I would say about the hotel is the breakfast could have been hotter. The staff were all very helpful. I would certainly go back to this hotel... more

The Millennium Hotel is well-placed, and the overall feel is aged, but cared-for - the building and room interiors show signs of age, but they're clean and the decor is regularly updated, although some of the cornicing appears older than the wallpaper and furniture. The room I was booked in was a "standard rate" room - considerably more than some... more
