A rare midweek trip to Glasgow for a concert. We booked this hotel as there was a good offer available at the time (unusual considering the Celtic Connections festival was in full swing and Glasgow hotels are always busy at this time). Check-in was very quick. Receptionist was pleasant and answered any questions we had about restaurant locations etc. There... More

We stayed in the Millenium Hotel for a night. We were lucky to get an upgrade room due to who we had booked through. Our room was a club room so it was a good size and overlooked George Square so I think we were pretty fortunate with that as I noted from some former reviews that they were at... More

Arrived on Saturday night to be told they had double booked us, depsite confirming that our acommodation had been arranged by email. We were subsequently transferred to the Etap Hotel, which a best could be described as hostel style accommodation. Myself and my partner slept in a room that had two twin beds, while our friends were in a room... More

I was unaware of the mistake but because the two instances were within seconds of each other the bank stopped the card and left a message on my phone. A long 0845 call later I asked the bank whether I could return in person to the hotel to have it fixed. When I did this someone in accounts (it was... More

If I could I would have rated this as 3+! My room was spacious and clean - the bed was very comfortable. The location is excellent - particularly if you are arriving by train at Queen Street Station. My one criticism is that I was in room 103 - which happens to have all the air conditioning units outside -... More

We have stayed at this hotel on more than one occasion due to its ideal location within the city. The accommodation is rather basic, somewhat old fashioned and in definite need of upgrade although it seems the lobby/bar area has been refurbished in recent times. Depending on the room (no guarantees if you request a 'quiet room') it can be... More

Just back from a two night stay in glasgow with six friends and had a great stay. Rooms were small but spotless -we had four almost adjoining rooms as requested. The only negatives were poor natural light in rooms and as we were on the station side the noise from the announcer wakened us earlier than we would have liked.... More

I stayed here for 4 nights as I was getting married in Glasgow. I have to say that booking was rather a nightmare as quite a few of my relations came up to stay for the wedding and many of them said they had problems and I had to contact the hotel several times to try and sort things out.... More

This is a really nice hotel and has an amazing location, I think the only downfall is the rooms itself. We stayed in a Junior Suite which looked over George Square, the view was brilliant, however the room iteself needed some work done. They are a good size, quite big but the decor is quite old, along with the tv... More
