Stayed here a few times and you can get great deals on prices if you shop around. Hotel is good area, although limited spaces a car park so arrive early or you will have to use public car park, Check in staff nice and food is reasonable, although of you want a cheaper breakfast walk along to wetherspoons as its... more

I stayed at the Holiday Inn on Bothwell Street last week on business and was very pleasantly surprised - particularly given some of less than positive comments on this forum. My company normally book me into one of the 4/5* hotels in Glasgow but this was a late booking and it was a case of taking what there was. My... more

I only stayed at the hotel because I was at an event in the function suite and I like to collect priority point. The public areas are quite modern but rooms are tiny and tired. I had a double but at best it was a single room with a double bed. The corridor a tiny and noisy. The decor was... more

I stay in Glasgow regularly for work and until recently have always used this hotel - mainly to qualify for the Holiday Inn points system. I like the location and the young conceierge that is usually on duty is great, really friendly and helpful but other than that I can't say many good things about this place. Reception staff are... more

Rang them up and said no smoking essential otherwise we would go elsewhere, no probs we'll sort it out. At check in they hadn't and said no non smoking rooms available until I said I'm going somewhere... more

Spent 3 nights there in April. Although the hotel is comfortable and functional, the interior is dated, and in places scruffy. I stayed on the 2nd floor, and the bedroom carpet was threadbare. The room was tiny in comparison to many other hotels. The windows are screwed shut and the air conditioning doesn't work - even in April the room... more

Excellent! It's a perfect Holiday Inn! It's well situated, near the Central station and in a street full of pubs and restaurant. Rooms are quite small (we didn't have enough space for clothes), but well cleaned, modern and very nice! We spent just 49£ per night and we had a luxury treatment! You can have all you need (although paying... more
