Hi! We stayed here for 4 midweek nights and thoroughly enjoyed it. The staff were all friendly and helpful, the room was lovely and quaint, the food was excellent,(rhubarb and nut crumble to die for!) the bar was cosy and interesting (all sorts of nick-nacks to look at), and the breakfasts really set us up for the day. There's a... more

They couldn't do enough for us, squeezed us in the annex and the rooms were fab, plush, comfy bed, good quality towels and bedding. The food is fantastic and the best breakfast for money on the WHW. more

Stayed in a bunkhouse room while walking the West Highland Way. Had a lovely dinner and room itself was okay, pretty small as expected. However, as per other reviews, the shower was either boiling or freezing - not great when you've just walked 20 miles. Breakfast was average - it was squash rather than juice. We got a packed lunch... more

I stayed at the Oak Tree Inn whilst walking the West Highland Way. Although the Oak Tree Inn was a decent place to stay it wasn't ideal for the end of a 20 mile walk. The staff were generally unfriendly and unhelpful and the shower in the room was either freezing or scalding hot, as I said not ideal. more

We stayed at the Oak Tree Inn for one night and our stay was pleasant and quite comfortable. Our room on the second floor was small, but modern with some nice decorative touches and very clean. The bathroom, although also very small, was new and the shower pressure was great. Our one issue with the Oak Tree Inn was the... more

My partner and I cycled here from Glasgow and spent an evening at the Oak Tree Inn. The atmosphere in the bar is wonderful, with the open fire and friendly service. We spent much of the evening playing chess and dominoes and ate wonderful food. The music (greatest boy bands of the last decade) was slightly maddening. The room was... more

This guest house was very reasonable priced for our weekend away. Set next to the quiet boat yard on the edge of Loch Lomond. The en-suite room was small although had good facilities. Staff were all really friendly, food in the restaurant was top quality and the bar was lovely. I'd highly recommend this accommodation; hope your stay is as... more
