I'll begin with the positives by noting that the hotel itself is in a very central location in Glasgow, the rooms were clean and the hotel well-equipped. However when I arrived into my room I noticed a set of ear plugs which did not inspire me with confidence. Across the road from the hotel is a music hall. A concert... more

We were really impressed with this hotel during our stay. The location is great for shopping, eating out and seeing the city. The staff were really polite & friendly and the food was always of excellent quality. The rooms have everything you need: with luxurious bathrooms, DVD, SkyTv and a great room-service menu there would be no need to go... more

Location was our reason for choosing this hotel. It is across the road from The Glasgow Royal Concert Hall - perfect for an overnight stay following a concert. We had booked a romantic package and enjoyed a bottle of Champagne and chocolates on arrival. The room was pretty small, but perfectly clean and functional. We ordered room service following the... more

My friend and I stayed at the Park Inn on 1 December 2007 whilst on a shopping trip to Glasgow. We had previously stayed there in December 2006 when the Hotel was then named Langs. It was excellent in 2006 hence the decision to return in 2007. However, the hotel has gone downhill quite a bit. We encountered a number... more

Myself and my partner stayed for 2 nights at this hotel on 20th and 21st December as we wanted to do a spot of Christmas Shopping!!! It's location is second to none as it is approx one minutes walk to the main shops. Indeed, the rear of John Lewis is just opposite the hotel and so is perfect for dropping... more

We have just returned from a weekend in the Park Inn, there were four of us staying in two rooms. When we arrived at the hotel we were allocated rooms on the same floor, one down the left corridor, the other on the right. My sisters were on the right hand side and there was an awful smell due to... more

I stayed at the Park Inn Hotel (formerly Laings Hotel) in Sept 07. The website (which was still Laings when I booked) looked amazing, there is a spa, an award winning restaurant, there are mezzanine apartment rooms. The day before I flew to Glasgow I checked the Laings website again, but it was forwarded to Park Inn. Very disappointing website... more

Now known as the Park Inn. The hotel is starting to look a little tired. The rooms are a liitle scruffier than they used to be and on my last stay the room was not as clean as I would expect. The staff were efficient though. more

This hotel has recently changed its name from Langs Hotel and is located right next to Buchanan Bus Station and opposite John Lewis in the centre of Glasgow. Hotel reception area is bright and adjoins on to a bar/restaurant area and the rooms are certainly spacious around 28m2 abeit starting to look a little bit dated in terms of interior.... more

I stayed at this hotel for two nights in October., having spent the previous two nights at the 4* Holiday Inn opposite Langs. The Holiday Inn is my usual Glasgow hotel but they had no availability for the last two nights of my stay, hence the booking at Langs. What a contrast to Holiday Inn!! My room was cramped, not... more
