When we walked in, we were greeted with a very friendly front desk staff. The rooms on the other hand, were unacceptable. We had a private room for two people, and our bathroom door was broken, and there was hair scattering the bathroom floor. Not to mention the shower just got water everywhere. There was also no air conditioning in... more

I write this review as a return customer who previously stayed in a twin room which I was overall happy with, however this time there were some definite problems! CHECK IN: On arrival this visit, I noticed a very badly smashed window taped up, I joked to my friend "Knowing our luck we'll end up with that room"... we laughed... more

Okay,so I have stayed at Eurohostel in Glasgow many, many times before over the years. The reason I keep choosing it is becuase not only is it cheap, but also centrally located, meaning loads of stuff is easy to access. The staff have always been friendly, the bar is good priced, and the vending machines are cheap too. There are loads of 24 hour shops and... more

No more again! The twin room we booked was Terrible! The room was not clean at all. There where hairs from other people in the room and in the bathroom. The bathroom was comlplete mildewed. The bed was disgustful impure, so we decided to sleep in our sleepingbags. I was all over Europe. Sleeping in many Hostels, Campsides and Hotels.... more

The Euro Hostel is an easy walk from the Glasgow Flyer bus stop. We started to check in early and were able to leave our bags behind the counter until official check-in time. We stayed in a private twin room, which provided us with a toilet, shower, relatively comfortable bunk beds, and a desk with an unfortunately low-hanging TV. It... more

This is absolutely the worst place we have ever stayed. The mattress was paper thin and I didn't get much sleep because of springs in my back. I talked to the front desk in the morning and they moved us to another room that they said had a new mattress. It wasn't much better so the next morning we got... more

Thank you for writing your review on Trip Advisor. I was obviously very concerned to read that you did not enjoy your stay and even left early. I apologise about your mattress and I will establish what room you were allocated and change the mattress. We invested thousands of pounds last year in providing new mattresses for most of our...

The Hostel is in a good position, close to the main attractions and to the tube. The rooms are fairly big for a hostel, with ensuite bathroom. The bathroom was quite clean, the room a little bit less... The staff is nice and helpful; there is a storage to leave your laggage that cost you £1. In the same bulding... more

My friends and I went with a group but we all didn't stay in the same place. We found that not only did we have the best location but that we had the best rooms and amenities. Our booking was messed up but in our favor so the three of us wound up in a private double room with a... more
