Stayed on a 2 night B&B deal with dinner 1 night. Reception was efficient, meals excellent (especially breakfast), quiet & clean room, if on the small side, (but we weren't staying in that much). Hotel is very central, 5 mins from bus station & Queen St Station. 2 mins to the shops, cinema complex across road. Would certainly stay there... more

I thought I`d pay a little extra and stay somewhere with a really nice room and good breakfast included. The room was very small indeed and the furnishings very worn. The bed was especially bad with a large rip in the fabric of the mattress. The TV only got a few channels. I complained about all of this & was... more

Quick check in and unusually for a Holiday Inn they recognised my Platinum Priority Club membership and (even more unusually) had coupons ready for use at their restaurant. I was going to go out for dinner but the coupons and positive reviews of their restaurant convinced me to dine inhouse. The fish soup was absolutely fantastic (strongly recommended), the tiramisu... more

Unfortunately the hotel had been experiencing some problems with the consistency of the wi-fi service through our 3rd party provider, and we have been working hard to find a suitable resolution. We are pleased to report that we have now resolved these issues and have a much improved level of wi-fi service for our guests. The hotel prides itself on...

Booked this hotel as it is across the street from the Royal Concert Hall where we were going to a concert. Buses from the airport arrive and depart from Buchanan Street Bus Station which is also across the road. Very close by is parking for those who come by car. Location for shopping is ideal . The hotel staff are... more

Recently spent a night in this hotel as an overnight stay before a flight, booked the penthouse suite for a bit of luxury and at £160 it was well worth it. The suite comprised of a lounge, bedroom and a nice bathroom with a spa bath. The tv's were pretty big (28") and we had dvd players and a selection... more

My mother was taken into hospital so I booked in at The Holiday Inn. The staff were extremley caring and comforted me in a time of need. The Reception staff were very pleasant as I didnt know how long I would be staying and they let me stay as long as I wanted to. They even gave me a free... more

We stayed at the Holiday Inn for our first visit to Glasgow. Everything was first class from the friendly staff to the superb dinner. Shops, bus station, train station are all close by but we decided first day to use the tourist bus to get our bearings and hopped on/off to visit places of interest such as the Botanic Gardens... more

This hotel is not worth its 4* star rating. The room I was given was small but that wasn't the problem. Carpets and walls had stains on them and the bed cover had what looked like blood on it. The hotel is tired and dated and really disappointing. I cannot comment on any other services as I did not stay... more
