We had a comfortable stay at Campanile Glasgow. The hotel is located just opposite to the Scottish Exhibition and Convention Center (SECC), Glasgow. We preferred Campanile, as we had to attend a conference at SECC. From the airport we took the bus 757, which leaves the airport every half hour. As we reached the hotel which was just across the... more

We chose this hotel for price and location. We wanted to be as close to the SECC as possible....a mere 2 min walk away. The rooms are on the small side but clean. The only slight issue I had was with the bed,....they were very soft/well used and perhaps it is time to upgrade them? The staff are friendly and... more

The hotel was good value for the £49 internet rate. The rooms were smaller than PremierInn's rooms, but clean. The beds were on the "very soft" side. The situation was absolutely ideal for those attending functions at the SECC. Our room was on the ground floor near to the enrance, which these days means that you get noise from the... more

Stayed here for first time for Simply Red concert; the hotel is a 5 minute walk to the Armadillo and SECC. Good budget travel lodge style hotel and we only paid £39 room only. Better than travel lodges but rooms are smaller but for one night not an issue. Bar and restaurant attached - bar a bit pricy - take... more

I stayed here on the night of the Killers gig at the SECC. Great value for money as the room which I booked months in advance only cost £43. Apart from price and location, there's nothing else to rave about. Our meal in the restaurant was just edible and overpriced although my boyfriend got something completely different. As we were... more

We stayed here when attending a concert becaust the location was ideal, a two minute walk from the SECC, and the price was reasonable. The room and bathroom were very small and cold but clean with plenty fresh towels. The staff were aloof but mannerly. After being in the room for ten minutes, the fire alarm sounded for aprox 30... more

I chose this hotel together with other collegues as it was near the SECC where we were attending for a conference. We were misled by the picture shown on their website. The bathroom was sooo cold with no heating. The airconditioner in the room never worked. During our 4 day stay the bathroom was barely cleaned although fresh towels were... more

The Campanile has nice modern rooms that are clean and quite spacious. We were very comfortable there. However, I wouldn't recommend the breakfast. It's about £7 but you'd probably only want to eat the cold buffet selection (worst hash browns I've ever tasted!) In terms of location it's not the most conveniant unless you're really involved with the exhibition centre.... more

My partner and I stayed overnight at the Campanile to see a band play at the nearby SECC. We were initially attracted to the Hotel as it is very close to the SECC (a two minute walk at most) and was very good value. £55 per night for a double room. The rooms are small but clean - the bed... more
