I stayed for one night. The rooms are OK but they are a little dated and I couldn't open the windows which were sealed. This freaked me out a bit! I was at the back of the lodge which is directly on the A80 and it was quiet. I had room service which you need to go down and order... more

Clearly lots of improvements have been completed in the public areas and the bar, restaurant and function room are great. However, bedrooms are a bit dated and whilst clean, furniture and decoration is well worn. Make sure you ask for a room to the rear as the main road at the front is very noisy and the hotel close to... more

This was my second time a the Crowwood Hotel and i've got to say what a difference. When it was a premier inn it was quite obviously forgotten about. I now believe it is privately owned and you can tell. There's a lot of love and attention has gone into this hotel. Really glad to see places like this getting... more

I had been in the area of the hotel before and stopped in a couple of years ago to have lunch with a friend. Then the food was terrible, the lady who claimed to be the manager couldn't have been less help and the place looked completely dated. I vowed I would NEVER return, but I had heard good things... more

Thats where it stops, the restaurant is very modernly decorated and looks quite upmarket however the food was well below standard. Probaably one of the worst meals I've had for the money I've paid. Found what... more

This hotel was a shambles - every room stank of damp even the rooms that were supposed to be refurbished. There were a number of us staying and most rooms were not very clean with various objects being found in the beds (daddy long legs, kirby grips etc). The service at breakfast was terrible with everything running out and never getting... more
