We came to Glasgow in Jan 2011 to see John Barrowman in pantomime and stayed at the Alamo. That was at the end of the 2010 panto run.
We came again in December 2011 to see him at the beginning of the 2011 panto run.
We stayed at the Alamo again.

We stayed at the Alamo for five nights over the New Year period. It is a stone's throw from the park, and situated in a lovely quiet terraced street very close to all that Glasgow's West End has to offer. I setup a trip advisor account on the sole purpose to bounce on here and give The Alamo top marks. Stayed here a few weeks ago for one night when the RHCP's were playing in Glasgow. Katya who was manning the guest house at the time was very friendly and welcoming. The guest house has vintage/classy detail and decor. It...

We had a very nice 5 night stay at the Alamo Guesthouse. It is very well located - across the park from the Kelvingrove Art Gallery and Museum. It is a quiet oasis away from the noise of the city but only a short bus/taxi ride to downtown. From the very warm welcome at arrival, the atmosphere is very homey....
