My daughter and I stayed here recently but to say it has gone downhill is an understatement. The receptionist was very unfriendly on check-in and seemed as tired as the hotel. We then discovered that despite booking a family room we were given a double with no single bed. I went back to reception and the receptionist just growled, that... More

Stayed here just over a week ago and never again. The staff were brilliant but let down by travelodge. From the start the carpets were old and threadbare. Once got to the room the door ad paint peeling off and not much better inside .The whole room was dated and felt like stepping back into the seventies, TV was only... More

I was booked into this Travelodge by my company for 2 nights. On arrival I booked in and was asked if I had booked the BOXED breakfast I said that the company would have booked it. I was told my room was on the first floor I went up the stairs to the 1st floor as I opened the door... More

This is a no frills travelodge offering a bed, tv, shower and drink making facilities at a bargain price. You have to be aware what this place is about. The cons: Basic and tired decor. Wrong postcode - use Red Deer or Sakura for sat nav. The pros: Brilliantly convenient stopover on way to/from NE Scotland. Fabulous pub restaurant next... More

for the price of twenty-eight pounds for a family room, this budget no-frills hotel was absolutely fine. The staff were friendly, the bedsheets were clean and the beds were ok for comfort. There was a kettle in the room with tea/coffee. Do not expect too much and you will be very happy with what you paid for. Would consider staying... More

Title says it all really - rough place in a rough area. Poorly signposted and difficult to find. Internet a real rip off at £10 for 24 hours and makes the overall price much less attractive. Compares very poorly with Days Inns - pity they haven't made it north of Abington. I shan't be coming here again.

We stayed at this Travelodge on Sunday evening, I have previously stayed at this same place before it came under the Travelodge banner. The room was booked in advance, so checking in was straightforward, the room itself was a decent size, the bathroom fittings looked to be fairly new, only a shower (no bath ) but that suits us fine,...
