Aviemore Hostel is top notch in terms of cleanliness. Staff are welcoming. The bed rooms and the beds are comfortable. Linen is provided. The showers and toilets are provided en-suite. The kitchen is well equiped and clean with sufficient cooking and refrigeration but it is too small to handle the total number of guests resulting in scrum fights when busy. No lounge area is provided but the pub next door makes a convenient location.

The overall standard is generally better than that provided by a YHA.

We would certainly use Aviemore Bunkhouse again. more
