Just returned from a weekend with kids and friends at the Coylumbridge. We were in the family suite, Double bed room with adjacent bunk bed room, both with TV. I have stayed here three times before this stay, but never with my boyfriend so was looking forward to showing him the great hospitality i had had on previous visits. Did not stay here,just had lunch and that was bad enough . we had a table of four and 1 child , ordered our food together but unfortunately not one item we ordered came out together ...... the highlight for me was the soup that came out , the waitress actually stood in the middle of the room and SHOUTED"who... more

Our room was clean but quite drab reminding me of a 70's prefab. Having previously enjoyed a stay at this hotel in March of this year I was astounded at how catering stardards have plummeted in a matter of months. As far as "fine dining" is concerned, it certainly falls well short of the standards, expected of a 4 STAR... more

If you have booked or would like to book this hotel dont be afraid - we travelled as a group of 8 - 4 adults and 4 kids aged 8,10,10 and 12 - we all enjoyed the hotels facilities, location, cleanliness and couldnt fault the food at all - our room was lovely with a fab view of the mountains.... more

i really enyoed my stay in this hotel.this is family friendly so sometimes there can be a lot of kidds, but service is exelent. more

Hotel on the outskirts of Aviemore, and is of typical Hilton reliable standards. Very family orientated, to the point that activities for adults are limited in comparison and you feel in the minority if you are not there with children. We were worried by previous reviews and almost cancelled. Glad we didn't. The hotel is probably not ideal for older couples being a family hotel, but we enjoyed our stay. Everything was clean, the staff were excellent and we can't understand the complaints about the restaurant, the waiting staff could not have been more pleasant and helpful. this hotel has a multi nations of staff if you are eatin in the resturant make sure you have said your order right some staff have problems understanding you we had to wait you either get the food to quick or very slow and cold complained not the only one i wonder if it is cheaper to employ overseas staff... more
