Our room was clean but quite drab reminding me of a 70's prefab. Having previously enjoyed a stay at this hotel in March of this year I was astounded at how catering stardards have plummeted in a matter of months. If you have booked or would like to book this hotel dont be afraid - we travelled as a group of 8 - 4 adults and 4 kids aged 8,10,10 and 12 - we all enjoyed the hotels facilities, location, cleanliness and couldnt fault the food at all - our room was lovely with a fab view of the mountains.... more

Hotel on the outskirts of Aviemore, and is of typical Hilton reliable standards. Very family orientated, to the point that activities for adults are limited in comparison and you feel in the minority if you are not there with children. We were worried by previous reviews and almost cancelled. Glad we didn't. The hotel is probably not ideal for older couples being a family hotel, but we enjoyed our stay. this hotel has a multi nations of staff if you are eatin in the resturant make sure you have said your order right some staff have problems understanding you we had to wait you either get the food to quick or very slow and cold complained not the only one i wonder if it is cheaper to employ overseas staff... more
