First time we've been into restaurant and def not the last. Had a lovely evening meal, something for everyone and choice of kids or teen menu (this had whopping dessert portions)! Food was good quality and good price. Staff were brilliant, very attentive and friendly, a breath of fresh air. Popped back next day for lunch before we drove home.... more

We were staying in self-catering locally, but had all our evening meals in the Cairngorm Hotel, the food was excellent as was the service and the staff. Maybe we will stay there next time. more

My Partner and I have just spent a fantastic stay at the Cairngorm Hotel in Aviemore. The reception staff were extremely helpful, the room was absolutely spotless, and the food was second to none. I will definately be back and I would have no hesitation in recommending this hotel to anyone. more

The Cairngorm Hotel is a fine example of a traditional, "old fashioned" Scottish Highlands hotel. Stayed here for a school reunion which a friend and I organised. Staff could not have been more helpful in the run up to the event and the meal and breakfast were excellent too. Rooms are on the small side but that's a very minor quibble. We hope to return in 2014. more

We stayed at the Cairngorm Hotel after visiting it's bar and restaurant on a previous visit. It has the best location in the centre of Aviemore, on the main street with shops and restaurants either side of it. Very comfortable hotel with great breakfast. Rooms are ok, clean, on the small side but very comfortable. Service was great, wait staff friendly and helpful. Will defiantly go back next ski trip. more
