Disappointing compared with other B&Bs used for our trip around the North of Scotland and the Orkneys Continental Breakfast comprised Cereal and Toast and Jam though main Breakfast quite good. Seemed to be understaffed for numbers par-taking in meals and found a 'take it or leave it' attitude from the management. Not the Scottish image we met elsewhere. more

We chose this Hotel as being nearest to our destination. Although it is only a 2 star hotel we found spotless clean accommodation and a hearty supper(free drink included) , what more could you ask for. Friendly staff and a nice atmosphere. more

Had an overnight stop here on our way to Orkney via the Pentland Ferries from Gills Bay (5 mins away). The Hotel was clean and food was well presented. Breakfast was more than adequate. Room we had was en-suite and seemed recently decorated. The double bed seemed a bit on the small side...or maybe I'm getting used to the super... more
