The name has changed to the Castletown Hotel but the excellent service and the atmosphere are the same. Andrew was an excellent host and his brothers cooking skills were exemplary. A most enjoyable stay thanks to all the staff. This place comes highly recommended more

Stayed just overnight a couple of times here. On main Wick-Thurso road in Castletown. Hotel/pub with pub food (recommended) and a restaurant where breakfast and other meals can be taken. Expecting a basic pub with a room and dreading it because arriving with toddler. However, the (fairly) new owners couldn't do enough to help us make the best of our stay.
