Totally run down and that's just the staff. Frozen food at evening meal. It was disgusting. There were jugs of warm water on the table and there was no ice when we requested some. From outside the hotel looks bad, a grey dowdy 1970's style building. Inside, with the heating on full, it was better, almost cosy . We stayed here for 3 nights and couldn't fault it. It may not be a 4/5 star hotel but the staff were 5 star. They were all very pleasant and nothing was too much bother for the dining room staff. We had hassle from the beginning. Booked a double room, recieved a twin. Informed the reception and was informed thats all that was available when I booked, it was either that or nothing.
