This was our second stay at Ardentorrie House, and it was just as wonderful as we remembered.

Hosts Kate and Willie Kennedy are warm, friendly, and helpful.

The house has been completely remodeled and renovated in artistic, contemporary style. Our suite was comfortable, immaculately clean, and attractively decorated, with many endearing and thoughtful touches, such as a tiny "treasure chest" of foil-covered chocolates. We get the sense that Kate and Willie asked themselves, "What would we like to find in a guest house suite?" and furnished with that in mind.

The location is spectacular, a residential street on a bluff overlooking Inverness Castle, the River Ness, and Inverness Cathedral. There are two good places adjacent for the evening meal: the hotel across the street, and a local pub down the block.
