My wife and I stayed for a couple of days at Silverstrands during a trip to the highlands in September. The room and breakfast lived up to our expectations; the owner was extremely helpful in pointing us in the right direction on a daily basis, in addition to being an excellent source on Scottish history and way of life. We stayed two nights at this B&B after finishing walking the Great Glen Way, so we could explore Inverness, a beautiful city. It’s a great place to stay at the end of the walk. We had a spotlessly clean, spacious and comfortable bedroom, with separate bathroom nearby. The bathroom was also spotlessly clean and had both a bath and a... More

A mother travelling to Inverness for the first time with two daughters. We couldn't have felt more welcomed and needs understood by Silverstrands hosts. The family room was ample and comfortable with all the necessary extras (good scottish biscuits to please sweet toothed daughters and a good cup of tea at the end of a long day sightseeing for mum).... Silverstrands is a great guest house. Very Well located, next to de centre but in a quiet neighborhood. Kenny is a great host, very kind! Great guy! The only negative thing is that the beds are a little small, but i'm a big guy... so... No problems! Everything else is great, the breakfast is A+! More

We really enjoyed our stay at Silverstrands. Kenny dressed in traditional Scottish attire for breakfast. It was very clean and in a safe area. More

We stayed there in Aug Bank holiday. Location is good, pretty close to town centre. The room, albeit small, provided all we need and was comfortable. It is clean, tidy and decor is smart. Kenny and Dorothy are nice and friendly and more than happy to give us advice on where to go in Invernness. We recommend this guest house. More

The B & B is on a quiet street a short distance from the train station. It was very clean and comfortable. The breakfast spread had everything that one could want to eat including fruit, juice, breads and yogurt. We had to get to the train and packed snacks instead of having breakfast. The proprietor was quite personable and helpful.... More

It's near the center, quiet and easy to park the car in the street. Thanks to Kenny we repaired the rearview of the car. Breakfast it's very complete, there was no place in the table to put the cup. It was occupied by the different kind of meals and drinks. He explain us what to visit and where to go... More
