Myself and my husband stayed at this hotel for our first wedding anniversary and it did not disappoint! The views over Loch Ness are absolutely stunning as was the food! I would highly recommend the scrambled eggs at breakfast and for dinner there were so many delicious things we ate I’d recommend anything… we had the venison, steak, chicken, salmon, cheese board all cooked beautifully and even better with a glass of champagne. We had a Loch View room which was big enough and the king size bed was very comfy! The locally brewed beers were a big hit with my husband who downed more than a few Crusader lagers chased by some well selected whiskies according to his taste. Aside from all of this, the reason we will definitely be returning is the staff. You could never hope to meet a more caring, friendly and fun group of people. Nothing is too much trouble and thanks to their local knowledge we had a great time exploring all the surroundings had to offer including some spectacular hidden gems! Anu and the team are absolute legends- 5 star team!!! Cannot thank them enough for a wonderful stay.…

Our dining experience at the Loch Ness Clansman Hotel Restaurant left us with mixed feelings. While the staff's demeanor left something to be desired—being less than overly nice—the food more than made up for it. My spouse opted for the daily soup, fries, and cheese bread, which he found to be satisfying and flavourful. As for me, I indulged in the Venison trio, and I must say, it was an absolute culinary delight. The flavors were exquisite, and I highly recommend it to anyone dining at the restaurant. For dessert, we decided to share the sticky toffee pudding and the banoffee cake. Both desserts were exceptional, but the sticky toffee pudding stole the show—it was hands down the best we've ever had, and we make a point to try it wherever it's on the menu. Despite the somewhat lackluster service, we were able to enjoy a lovely view over the lake, adding to the overall ambiance of the meal.…

Had a brilliant stay at the Clansman hotel, staff were lovely and went the extra mile! We were there for my boyfriend's birthday and the staff went above and beyond to make it memorable for him! The food was amazing and couldn't fault the service in the bar or restaurant at both breakfast and dinner time. The hotel has amazing views over the loch and it's so easy to access the loch cruises from the hotel also. Definitely will be back!

This appeared to be a hotel specializing in coach-tour parties and being mid-October when we were there, the hotel was very quiet and had an end of season feel. Our room was OK but the hot water was scolding and the mirror light didn't work (both reported to reception). There is no lift (except one for the disabled) and carrying two suitcases up to the second floor wasn't the best introduction. Lovely views across the Loch and a good dinner. However, at breakfast we were served a ready-mix porridge - come on, this is Scotland, it should be home made!

Great spot - right across the road from Loch Ness tour. Older buildings but clean & restaurant has amazing views over Loch. Restaurant has nice varied menu & breakfast was quick & had a good selection. Only thing BF does not start till 8. Hotel has large gift shop, with better prices than we had seen. But the best part was the lovely , attentive staff. Couldn't be more helpful & frIendly from checkin to wait staff. They are to be commended. Gold star !!

What an amazing hotel. We booked 1 night the day before arrival because of a poor choice of hotel in Inverness. The best decision we have made. After a cruise on Loch Ness we checked in. Every member is staff that we have come across has been amazing. They are a credit to the hotel. We had a beautiful dinner at the restaurant at a table overlooking the Loch. So special! Everything about our stay has been amazing. Would recommend this hotel and would definitely come back.

I had booked three rooms for three nights, one with a loch view for my husband and me and the other two for his two siblings visiting from New Zealand. We were told by Ula, the friendly receptionist that we were being upgraded to the apartment alongside the main hotel. We were delighted but there were several small problems eg, dodgy blind in one of the bedrooms etc. The apartment itself was lovely with wonderful views of Loch Ness. The following day-Monday most of the problems had been taken care of. Breakfasts were excellent and we had two very good evening meals. This is a lovely hotel in a perfect location, the staff from the maintenance man to the manager worked their socks off to make sure we, and other guests had a great stay. Thank you everyone.

Our quite pricey room faced the back (no view) , but the restaurant has lovey lake views. Our room was tiny but tidy and nice. Couldn’t open the suitcase except on the bed, so we unpacked everything. Good modern bathroom, but water temperature and pressure not easy to regulate. Food in restaurant was very good with veggie options. Staff super friendly. The Loch Ness Jacobite boat tour leaves in front of the hotel, so watch bus loads of tourists embark while you sip your breakfast coffee.

I must admit that I was very sceptical about the place in general (I usually dread crowded hotels in high season), and I only booked there because I knew my elderly dad would love sleeping near Loch Ness and it was a last minute decision. But it was a pleasant surprise! The rooms are nothing luxurious, but they are comfy and spotless, and they do really have a view over the Loch, which I admit I doubted. We had dinner at the restaurant, and it was another surprise: the views are astonishing, the menu has plenty of great options and the portions are huge, so it is exceptionally good value for money. Same goes for the breakfast: both the continental buffet and the cooked plates were generous and with plenty of choice, and really set us up for the day. Final big shout out to the staff, from the receptionist to the staff at the restaurant, who were lovely and caring with everyone alike even in the busiest moments.…
