I stayed here for 3 nights over the Easter Weekend. The Campsite is set on the Southern shores of the Beauly Firth which gives spectacular views and dramatic sunsets not to mention the variety of wildlife. I had the pleasure of 2 ospreys fishing while I was there. The site offers 125 pitches, 50 of these with electric hook-ups. I camped right down at the water front. This I was told is a few degrees cooler at night than inner pitches so take your hot water bottle. The toilet and shower block is cleaned daily to a high standard. There are 4 showers and 1 hairdryer for us ladies!!
There is a shop with basic essentials and there is an added bonus of Tracy and Daves Snack bar. Open from 7ish for breakfast offering bacon, sausage or egg rolls, or for dinner scampi and chips, burgers, chicken curry etc... All reasonably priced and served with a smile and friendly chat.
The site welcomes dogs free of charge and requests that they are kept on leads. It does however say that pitbulls...
