A family run B&B only 5 minutes from Inverness city centre and with a stunning view over the Beauly Firth. An Ideal base for touring the Scottish Highlands and dolphin watching. Check out the 'Local Attractions' page to see what's in the area.

Ann and David where a wonderful couple they made you feel very welcome. Ann was really helpful told us about the dolphins and then book us into the hotel for a meal, nothing was too much trouble. Full Scottish breakfast was great, Ann also made us shortbread on arrival. The home made jam was great too. I would highly recommend the B & B. Thanks again Sue and Michael x

Very friendly host with a good breakfast. It is located near the water and has a nice path along the water for an evening or morning stroll. There is a very good restaurant within a 5 or 10 minute walk. Parking was a little tight but manageable.

Go across the Inverness suspension bridge across the Lock, to North Kessock. A small bedroom community with lots of precious BnB's. We selected one that was very clean but tiny. Nice open breakfast room with a view, and en-suite bath. All in all, a BnB that lives up to the best tradition of this genre. Lovely, very friendly hostess who took care of everything. Cash only, so be prepared for that.

Anne and David run lovely family like b and b and both are great hosts. The place has beautiful views and the rooms are very clean and neat. The breakfast is sumptuous and filling and I would definitely recommend this b and b to anyone visiting Inverness.

We really enjoyed our stay at Mt. Pleasant B&B. The room was neat and tidy, everything was nice and clean. The traditional Scottish breakfast was very good and kept us going most of the day. It was a very easy drive into Inverness and then on to Culloden. An added bonus was that Ann and I found out that we are kin, from Clan Gordon. We would stay here again!

Matress on one of the single beds had seen better days. Delightfull breakfast with homemade jam and marmelade. Very friendly hosts.

Comfortable beds, nice room, working wifi and and decent traditional Scottish breakfast but room wasn't very clean (hair in the shower, tea/coffee facilities were sticky and unit had left over tea cup rings, windowsills were dusty. The basic cleanliness was not up to scratch. Products in the bathroom had been decanted into bottles which did not reflect what we were using (or a mint smelling product from a bottle suggesting floral scents) That said the stay was "ok". Location is out of Inverness. We had a walk to a nearby hotel for food. Again, pretty average. Host was very helpful in contacting me to let me know I had left some clothing behind. I was grateful for that. Lacked the "friendly welcome" others had raved about and were in fact asked to arrive after a certain time as hosts would be out. …

It was really nice to stay with Anne & David, they were kind and funny. Tolds us were to see the dolphins and the seals and all the whereabouts worth seeing. The room was comfortable and the breakfast delicious. There's the possibility to talk a walk near the lake and enjoy the nice view. We enjoyed it very much, thank you.

We stayed at the Mount Pleasant for two nights and will never forget the warm welcome and kindness we found there. Comfortable and clean room. Free wi-fi, parking and DVD for the kids available in the room. Anne & David are available to help and support in every need or kids' questions about the dolphins.... worth seeing them. Cooked scottish breakfast full of choice and double portions requests have been readily satisfied. Five stars to Anne's home-made marmelade. Will definitely come again!!!
