We were not made to feel particularly welcome: noone on premises when we arrived and no note to indicate what we should do, entrance is dark and dingy--notes on furniture warning you not to sit, breakfast was definitely not up to standard (another very pleasant couple were asked to leave because they complained about their breakfast). more

Did not like it at all. Very dark and dreary, unfriendly house and hosts. Bad food. Far overpriced for service provided. I felt like being intruder rather than guest. more

We arrived at the hotel and were informed that we were too early, even though we had informed them, by telephone that we would be arriving shortly!
