This may have been one of my favorite rooms. The en-suite bathroom was in a little tower from the room and was so pretty. The room was gorgeous. It was extremely romantic. The location of the guest house was very close to Inverness and I wish we could have stayed longer to explore Inverness more thouroughly. The breakfast was good.... more

Stayed here in May 09 and enjoyed the accommodation the location and the onsite parking. We had a room with a 4 poster bed which was tastefully decorated and had a view of the lovely garden. The room was large and clean and ensuite sparkling. The location was within walking distance of the main area of Inverness and restaurants. We... more

What a treat it was to stay in this lovely B&B. So close to town, we could park and walk the streets of this lovely Scottish city. The innkeeper Catherine Cameron & her husband Tom were delightful. Friendly, helpful, accommodating - we felt like old friends after our stay. Their full Scottish breakfast were delicious and hearty. It was a... more

My husband and I stayed here for one night, turned up without a booking and we were fortunate to get a room here. The rooms are gorgeous, we had one with a four poster bed. There is also digital TV, shampoo / soap / hairdryer / tea, coffee biscuits etc. Gorgeous wooden period furniture to match the era of the... more

We booked this B&B based on the lonely planet recommendation. We stayed for 3 nights at the end of August. The location was great - very close to downtown and the river. Everything was about a ten to fifteen minute walk. Our room was one with an ensuite bathroom. The room was fine size-wise and amenity-wise, but nothing exceptional. The... more

We were not made to feel particularly welcome: noone on premises when we arrived and no note to indicate what we should do, entrance is dark and dingy--notes on furniture warning you not to sit, breakfast was definitely not up to standard (another very pleasant couple were asked to leave because they complained about their breakfast). more

Did not like it at all. Very dark and dreary, unfriendly house and hosts. Bad food. Far overpriced for service provided. I felt like being intruder rather than guest. more

Booked for its inclusion in the Lonely Planet and this characterful Victorian oak panelled stylishly furnished B&B did not disappoint us. 6 minute walk to the High Street and Tourist information office where various excellent trips depart for Loch Ness and other local attractions ([--]), 10 minute walk to the railway and bus stations. Neither of the 2 rooms we... more

We arrived at the hotel and were informed that we were too early, even though we had informed them, by telephone that we would be arriving shortly! It was very dark inside the hallway, as you were not allowed to switch on the light. Sings were put on the furniture stating that you could not use them. Next morning, breakfast... more

This home has been a B & B for a couple of generations and is absolutely beautiful in its decor and personal touches throughout the house. Had a very pleasant nights sleep. Walk to the town of inverness and along the riverbank. more
