Stayed here as we was going to rockness. The welcome we received was marvellous. The bar had a good atmospehere and the breakfast was good. The room was cosy but the bathroom was small. It is convenient for Inverness center and GVfM - Highly Recommended more

Come and stay at the Redcliffe where staff are warm and welcoming. As the pictures suggest dress is 'smart but casual'. Only joking of course. We were at the hotel for a fancy dress but have been going to the hotel since the new owners took it over. We are always given a warm welcome by all members of staff... more

We have stayed at The Redcliffe several times and eaten in the restaurant, Derrick and his staff are the nicest friendliest accommodating people you could wish to meet.,nothing is too much trouble. We have been coming to this hotel for four years. We saw the transformation as it happenned. The refurbishment of the rooms , the outside area, and the... more

This hotel is one of the worst I ever stayed in. The website pics are highly misleading with close ups of rooms that have been given only a very slight facelift, ie a few pictures and a nice bedspread, making it look a lot nicer than it is. We booked a night in the redcliffe based on these 'nice looking'... more

The Redcliffe hotel is small but perfectly formed. The rooms are very modern, with lovely furnishings, and little extra touches like bottled water, hot chocolate and a variety of teas in the room. The restaurant is set in a beautiful little conservatory and the food was fantastic. The restaurant was busy but service was extremely quick and I found the food to be of an... more

We arrived at about six o'clock and immediately had dinner. The food was good and the service very friendly. Our rooms were in the townhouse across the road from the main hotel and it is quieter and has beautiful views over the castle and city beyond. The beds were comfortable and the rooms clean, as was the rest of the... more

We booked accommodation at the Ardentorrie Guest House whch is just across the road from the Redcliffe Hotel. When we arrived we found that the Redcliffe Hotel had purchased the Ardentorrie Guest House. We went to the reception of the hotel and were offered a room in the main hotel. Ardentorrie Guest house is now called Redcliffe Town House. If... more

Stayed at the Redcliffe with my husband for 2 nights between Xmas and New Year, we just wanted a relaxing few days and this is exactly what we got. Great location right in the heart of Inverness with free parking so that was an added bonus not having to worry about the car. Our room was so comfortable, totally modernised,... more

One poster mentioned Room 6 being horrible. Room 7 was a nightmare also. It was a tiny, dirty single located over the kitchen. The vibration from the ktichen fan and noise continued to 10:00 pm and made sleep impossible. I am used to small hotel rooms in the UK but in this one you could sit on the bed and... more
