Just back from spending 4 nights at the stoneyfield travelodge which is the 2nd time that we have stayed there. The retail park is great as we found ourselves having a cooked breakfast at tesco extra in the mornings to set us up for the day ahead. However a car is essential as the travelodge is located 2 miles from Inverness,... more

Hotel is one of the best Travelodges I have stayed in,Was here on business and it met my requirements.Hotel is on the A96 but it is fairly quiet at nightime. If you where here for a Holiday you would need transport to get in to Inverness City Centre as this Travelodge is not within walking distance. The rooms are clean and met... more

I have just returned from my 2nd visit to this hotel. Its a typical Travelodge - clean and basic. Its right next to a retail park so thats handy and the Snow Goose restaurant next door is really nice. Good location but a car will be required to go into the town. more

We are Travelodge's best customers and stay all over the UK in them - mainly because they accept well-behaved dogs and because you get a pretty consistent standard and they provide everything a passing-through traveller needs. This one, however, surpassed the others. We were there for 3 nights and wished we had booked to stay a week. I cannot understand... more

We have stayed in TL's all over the UK before and accept the concept that they are no frills, basic but clean places to stay for a very good price and this one was no different. Well, it was slightly different in as much as the standard of cleanliness left something to be desired. My father-in-law found a half eaten... more

If you want an impersonal clean dormitory this is the place. We booked breakfast online only to discover it comprised a packet of cornflakes, longlife milk and small carton of juice - oh and a fruit bar. We tried to get a refund for the breakfasts which we refused after day one but so far Travelodge have ignored our request.... more

This is the best Travelodge I have stayed in. It is very modern and clean. I think the rooms must have been very recently refurbished. There was lots of space in the room, the bed was comfortable, the shower was very powerful. The room was also quiet - traffic noise was well masked. The only disturbances were people takling in... more

Booked for 2 nights on a special low-cost deal. Excellent value. Room was a family room, clean, with lots of space. Reception was attentive and helpful. There is a restaurant pub beside the hotel called Snow Goose which is good for a relaxing drink. There is also a large retail park nearby which has a Tesco Extra, other retail shops,... more

The hotel was fine, if somewhat basic - but you get what you pay for which was a clean room with a warm comfortable bed. Fairways is somewhat outside Inverness centre and you def. need a car to get to it. The only 'luxury' on offer is a tiny bar of soap so you need to bring all other toilet... more

Stayed 1 night, room 25 - a large room on the ground floor. Room was quiet and clean, plain but tasteful. There is nothing amazing about it, but it gets 5 stars since it was cheap, and there was nothing to complain about. The most interesting thing about it was that the room was cool. If you wanted it warm,... more
