Araminta and Gavin are good old fashioned hospitality. Their personal attention to your needs for the day was a breath of fresh air and the use of their local knowledge put to good use. Loved my stay with them and the local suggestion of dinner at the North Kessock Pub. perfect!

The guest house was easy to find and just what we needed. Araminta was great in arranging dinner for us at the North Kessock Hotel. The room was cosy and the bed extremely comfortable. All the guest amenities were there from goodies in the bathroom to the selection of teas, coffee and hot chocolate in the room. Breakfast was delightful...

We had a lovely stay here. Armaminta and Gavin are charming, and make you so welcome. The location is fabulous, very rural and hidden away, but so close to Inverness. Our room was very comfortable and very clean. Breakfasts were delicious, aga cooked, sitting in the big kitchen. Lovely walks from the door and a super country place to stay.

Minty and Gavin provide a very warm welcome at their cottage beautifully nestled amid the trees and gardens. Their comfortable home also offers a pleasant sitting room, with fireplace, that is overflowing with magazines, maps and other helpful information, or, better yet, enjoy chatting with the owners about the many things to do and see in the area. Be hopeful...

We received a warm welcome, even though I had only booked the day before we arived and it was almost out of season. Minty and Gavin gave lots of helpful suggestions and advice for making the best use of our short time in the area. The location was wonderful with views of the sun setting behind the snow kissed mountains...

This is a nice place. You need a car and good directions or GPS to find it. My only complaint is that the beds need to be update they were old and uncomfortable. Definitly old style Scotland B&B which is part of its charm. The 2 bedrooms for guests are part of a family home, with nice attention to detail...

I am sorry that we were not at Craigiewood to welcome you personally but am glad that you received attentive service from our friend Margaret during your one night stay. Thank you for pointing out in your review the 'squeaky bed' problem which was rectified on our return. The problem had obviously just occured as the guests who stayed with...

We wanted to stay near Inverness, but out in the country with views - and the owners (Gavin and Minty) gave us just what we wanted. The charming mid-century style home has all the conveniences and has them with charm. Gavin and Minty provided us with great suggestions of what to see and where to eat (in fact, they booked...

A little gem nestled in spectacular Scottish countryside - only 4 miles from Inverness and easily accessible from the A9. We stayed for 3 nights and used Craigiewood as a base for exploring the Black Isle, Glen Affric and Loch Ness. The house is beautiful - a home away from home. The bedrooms are comfortable and spacious. There is free...

Arriving after a long drive northwards and on our way up to the Orkneys the next day, we wished we had more time to spend at Craigiewood, amidst beautiful trees on the Black Isle. A warm welcome from Minty and Gavin, both good sources of local information (eg. how to hear Rod Stewart sing across the Moray Firth) and a...
