We stayed here for 2 nights. One reason we chose this was because they had a restaurant. However, the first night it was closed for a Christmas party. We did eat there the second night and it was a good restaurant. There was nothing "bad" about this hotel, but there was nothing "remarkable"...one of those places you don't remember a... more

Had a problem at check in as the lock to my room wouldn't open and there was no maintenance person around. Receptionist handled it well though and personally took me to the restaurant for a drink whilst she got the lock fixed. Bar staff were very friendly and well trained. Rooms - standard travel inn. If they would put an... more

The hotel is right on B865, so squeezed in along the highway that the parking lot is in front of the adjacent restaurant. Our window opened to a sidewalk along B865 with a railroad on the otherside of the highway. While to view left much to be desired, the street and rail noise was minimal and did not bother our... more

I stayed here for 14 days whilst working locally. This hotel was tidy, spacious and friendly. The rooms were comfortable and clean, the food was reasonably priced and whilst the quality did vary on occasion, it was more than satisfactory all the time. Finally i must mention the staff. Without exception they were friendly, couteous and extremely helpful. more

Stayed here for one night on Saturday 30 September. Hotel is easily located from the A9. It is not exacly central but we didn't mind the 15 walk into town as it was a beautiful day, however you might want to take a taxi when they weathers not so nice. On arrival the receptionist was very friendly and helpful. We... more

The hotel billed itself as being in the centre of Inverness. In reality it's a mile or more away. Without a car, any exploration of the city required a taxi. The rooms were small with poor ventilation. No effort was made by hotel staff to make us feel welcome or help in any way. The phone system did not allow... more

Nothing to report about the rooms in the hotel. They are exactly the same as you would find in every Travel Inn. Nice bathroom, bed and sofabed. There was some noise from the railway line which is right across the road but it didn't disturb us even with the window open. Next door is a bar/resaurant 'Slice' which is the... more
