We stayed here for two nights in July and found it to be better than expected. The position is ideal - near to everything, shops, bus station, train station, river etc. The bus from the airport stops in a nearby street and couldn't be more convenient. The room was clean, had comfortable beds with duvets, a well-stocked hospitality tray(with biscuits),... more

The hotel was better than the reviews we read. Our room was huge. Clean and tidy on arrival. The tiles in the bathroom could do with a scrub but nothing too bad. The road below was a bit noisy first thing in the morning, but it made you get up and go out and see Inverness. We had breakfast 2... more

My wife and I have just spent three nights here. We wanted something cheap and basic because we were in Inverness to see Loch Ness and the surrounding area and NOT the hotel. We considered the local Travelodges but opted for this because it was cheaper and in a better location. In fact, the location is probably the strongest point... more

Attempts to pass itself as a type of Travelodge, however, found the decor tatty, in need of repair and a bit disorganized. Spent 2 mid weekdays nights here. Chose it as it was central and fairly cheap (£55/night) for Inverness City Centre. Was okay, but nothing special a bit disappointing really. Being part of a Wetherspoon pub wasn't a problem,... more

Not for nothing is this establishment rated 71st of 78 in Inverness. Room 102 was not even properly made up on an evening arrival. Reception couldn't even organise to have the room cleaned properly, there was "THIS" stuff on the toilet paper and the disabled assistance poles in the bathroom. The carpet was Filthy with a capital F and badly... more

This hotel was not up to the standard of either previous stays at a Wetherspoon Lodge and very much short of comparable 'lodge' accommodation. The reception was poor, with reception staff chatting to other staff during check in - leaving us with no directions to room. The room was dirty on a number of counts: carpet, filthy with stains; several... more

I booked this hotel through Laterooms - thinking it was a type of Travelodge, and in many ways it was - but there are some serious issues that need sorting. Tried to check in - but was sent away till 2pm - but they did look after my bags! Killed time at the Mustard Seed - recommended restaurant near overlooking... more

Booked 3 nights at the Kings Highway at the end of June. We were flying into Inverness, hiring a car and exploring the area. Booking into the hotel was easy, the lady on reception was very friendly, the room was on the second floor overlooking the road, very clean and well set out, fully working TV and good tea/coffee making... more
