We have stayed here frequently and it has always been excellent. The rooms are spacious and well decorated with excellent facilities. Breakfast is very good with a good choice of cooked food and a substantial cold buffet to choose from. Alison and James are extremely helpful and friendly and it is our favourite place to stay in Inverness. Highly recommended.

As many have said previously the place is immaculately clean and well presented. The room we had (No 6) was large and well equipped, hair dryer and an extra heater in the room. One thing I often find in guest houses etc is lack of plug points, not the case here though. The on suite shower/toilet was impeccably clean, shower... More

James and Alison were very caring and made my stay so comfortable. B&B is at a walking distance from the station. Stayed at Room No:11 and it was a nice room. Room was clean and enough space to keep your luggages. Breakfast was superb. I would highly recommend this B&B.

Allison is wonderful and very kind, she helped us throughout our stay and she is so kind hearted. The guest house is just few minutes away by walk. The room was very comfortable and also a good size. The whole house is impeccable ! Breakfast was superb. I would highly recommend this guest and it deserves much more stars :)... More

A warm welcome was provided by James & Allison, the property was perfect for our 3 night stay. It is well located too, only a quick walk and we were across the river into the town. Always nice to return to the cosy room after a day out in the Scottish bracing air. Breakfast was well prepared and substantial. Many... More

Having stayed here In 2007 to attend a wedding I was happy to return. This time with a 16 month old baby I was apprehensive. We had a fantastic stay, the rooms were spotless, I was worried our baby would disturb other guests but he didn't. breakfast was amazing, made fresh to order with lots of choice. Would highly recommend.

From the moment, our party of four working ladies arrived at Abermar, our hosts Allison & James, could not have been more kind. Inviting us to use the Guest lounge was heaven, enabling us to unwind over a glass or two of wine in comfortable surroundings. A true 'home-from-home', and so very much appreciated. My room (11) on the first... More

The house in general is beautiful and clean, and the hosts are very helpful and friendly. Breakfast is great, and the location in a quiet road with lots of other B&Bs is ideal for going into town. Personally, I had a problem with the single room (#11). The ensuite facility obviously has been installed later, so that the window is... More

This guest house has met all our expectations. It was centrally based, just a few roads away from the city centre. The hosts were very friendly and helpful. The bedroom and bathroom were spotlessly clean. We were served generous breakfasts with poached, scrambled or fried eggs, bacon, sausages, mushrooms, baked beans and tomatoes. I cannot leave out the black pudding... More
