I have now stayed at the Alexander twice and have booked to stay again next month. It's the breakfasts that draw me back every time (the poached eggs are the best I've ever had), but this place is excellent value, beautifully kept and professionally run. Highly recommended! more

We stayed in The Alexander for one night in April. It was a pleasant stay and we were lucky to have a room with a view onto the river. Arranging the booking via email went smoothly, as did checkin. The rooms are nice and the breakfast was excellent too. Overall definitely a B&B that can be recommnded more
