My Husband and I booked the Boathouse for a Climbing meet we were having.

You do have to drive past Aviemore, but its not a million miles away.

The hosts, David and Val are extremely accomadating, lighting the stove for you on arrival!

The boathouse itself is just fab! Its clean, cosy and the beds are great! It has everything you could possibly need!

In the day the ducks and chickens are out and about and they are lovely, they also have a resident Red Squirrel!

I would certainly recommend this place for couples too, they do have a double bed, its also perfect for climbing in the Cairngorms, and to ease those aching limbs they also have a sauna! (but be prepared to pay a few quid to use it)

We will definatly be going back! more
