From collecting us at the railway station to seeing us on our way, Andy and Sue never failed to make us feel welcome at their beautiful and well located B&B. The only downside is that if you make this the first place you stay in Scotland, you will spend the rest of your holiday looking for somewhere half as good. more

My sister, dad and I have just returned from a two-night stay at the Torlinnhe and I can only echo the existing reviews. The accomodation itself was absolutely spotless, modern and comfortable (we had 2x twin rooms). The beds were really comfortable and the black-out blind fitted perfectly which was wonderful and, I feel, typical of Andy and Sue's ability... more

Torlinnhe is a welcoming, friendly B&B. The hosts go out of their way to ensure your comfort. The house is opposite the Loch and the views over the water are fantastic. The breakfast was superb with so much choice. Our bathroom was very small, but serviceable. The owners are in the process of enlarging all the ensuites, so that problem... more

A truly first class guest house. The best we've ever stayed at. We stayed here for 6 nights and really enjoyed our stay. The whole place was clean, bright and modern. Our room was well equipped including a modern digital TV and a spacious ensuite shower room. Our king size bed was very comfortable. Sue and Andy were excellent hosts... more

Without a doubt, this is one of the best B&Bs we've ever stayed in. From the outside, it looks like an average 1970s house but this doesn't prepare you for the interior. The bedrooms, bathrooms and lounge/dining room are beautifully decorated in a luxurious modern style. There is lots of choice at breakfast (which you order the night before) including... more

We stayed only one night at Torlinnhe, but would have liked to move in forever! Everything about it is 5 star quality. Our room was beautifully appointed, with top quality linens and elegant furniture. The breakfasts were outstanding, and the view from the breakfast room/lounge was spectacular. Andy and Sue were the perfect hosts, welcoming and helpful. They are planning... more

We spent three nights at Torlinnhe last week and had a lovely relaxing time. Our stay was undoubtedly helped by the fabulous weather, unlike the rest of the UK. The owners Sue & Andy go out of their way to ensure that you have a comfortable stay and nothing is too much trouble. The rooms are sparkling clean and there... more

Spotlessly clean, modern, comfortable and fresh room, wonderful hospitality and an outstanding view made an overnight stop into the high point of my weekend. Andy and Sue offer some lovely touches (a welcome cup of tea with a selection of Scottish biscuits was one) and they are very knowledgeable about the area and its offerings. The view from the lounge... more

We were very lucky to stop outside Torlinnhe on spec and find they had a room free for the night. Sue made us very welcome and served us tea and biscuits in the lounge before showing us up to a lovely bedroom with fine views over the water. We somehow managed to fuse the lights in the whole house in... more

We could wax lyrical about this place for hours. The B&B is wonderfully located on a scenic road running south of Fort William. Better still, this place is run by people who really care about your experience. We received a warm and friendly welcome, accompanied by tea and a selection of biscuits by the wonderful, well-organised hosts in the beautiful... more
