Patricia and Robert are the most welcoming and gracious hosts, who offer friendly, neat as a pin and well appointed lodging. They had good recommendations for dinner and provided us with detailed weather for our trek up Ben Nevis. Our room and the breakfast room had beautiful views of the sea loch. The breakfast spread was delicious and extensive, even... more

We stayed at Taransay for 3 nights in early September and it really was a stay to remember. Pat and Bob are wonderful hosts and made as feel really at home. The room was large, had a lovely view over the loch and was spotlessly clean. Breakfast was excellent and the location, just a short walk into Fort William, was... more

The patrons of the Taransay (Patricia & Robert) were excellent hosts, nothing was to much trouble. The room was very clean & the en-suit bathroom kitted out with all you would need. The view was stunning overlooking Lock Linnie. Fort William town centre is within easy walking distance. more

This B&B is in a slightly elevated position above Loch Linnhe and has a fine view of the loch. Tricia and Robert both made us feel very welcome in their home for our five day stay. Our room was a good size, as was our en suite bathroom; the full Scottish breakfast set us for the day. The town centre... more

This B&B is situated on a small hill overlooking the spectacular loch. The room I stayed in was clean and comfortable, ensuring a good night's sleep. There was a minor issue with the toilet's flushing system that initially did not switch itself off. However, the hosts swiftly dealt with the problem. Also, located within a short distance of the town... more

We only stayed for one night but we were well looked after from the moment we pulled onto the driveway! The room was large, very clean and the breakfast was fantastic. Easy walking distance (along the side of the loch) into Fort William approx 5-10 mins where there are lots of bars/restaurants. Would definitely stay here again! Thanks for your... more

One of the best B&B I've ever been. Views from rooms are incredible: you can enjoy a beautiful sunset over Loch Linnhe. A really quiet place located very near of Fort William centre and 20 minutes away from Ben Nevis by car. Breakfasts are majestic: the challenge is to finish them. Patricia and Robert are really lovely, they are always... more

Although my wife and I stay over at Taransay only for a night, we truely enjoyed our stay. The room is very tidy and clean. Important is that both Patricia and Robert are very friendly and make us feel at home. Breakfast is excellent and the dining room has an awesome view overlooking Loch Linnhe. I would choose Taransay for... more
