Lovely bed and breakfast, very clean and comfortable and excellent breakfast. Do try the cold scottish platter. I was made very welcome and not made to feel awkward about being on my own. Paul and Liz helped with my plans and nothing was too much trouble from discovering opening times to providing maps from the internet. The bed and breakfast... More

This is quite a large-ish B&B situated south of town, only 2mins by car. The main drawcard for us was the view over Loch Linhe which we could see in their room pictures. It's situated on a hill which gives them this nice vantage point. If you're walking to the B&B with luggage keep this in mind. The room was... More

Thank you for your review. I am glad you enjoyed your stay. The rooms have all enjoyed significant upgrade over the last 15 months with new carpets throughout, new flat screen TV's with DVD players, new headboards etc. In fact our twin has had a new en-suite created. The dining room has had new tables and chairs, a new dresser... More

Really Lovely b & B, charming and helpful hosts, great location, there are loads of places all along the main road, but this b & b was up a short incline behind the b & b`s on the road so has the advantage of a fabulous view from the breakfast room and no noise from the road traffic. Extremely clean... More

We had an excellent two-night stay here (October 2012). The room was clean and comfortable, with an excellent, roomy en suite. The breakfast was well cooked and filling (and the unique Scottish cold platter option is very worthy of consideration as well!). The view from the breakfast room, looking out over Loch Linnhe from an elevated position, was a great... More

I stayed here with my two girlfriends for three nights in August 2012. It's clean, comfortable with fantastic hot showers and nice touches like DVDs and books to borrow, yummy biscuits in the bedrooms, and high quality towels and sheets- it's the little things that make a difference when you're spending your days hiking. Great choice of breakfasts including nice... More

We were made to feel welcome; they were very helpful in directing us to places of interest and where to eat. Not only were the owners friendly but the views were stunning. Although we only stayed for the weekend, we will make more of it next time. It is centred around many sights in the highlands, if only we had... More

I had a very enjoyable stay at this B&B. Paul, the owner was very welcoming and runs the B&B to a very high standard. Friendly, clean, efficiently run and perfectly located. I cannot fault anything about this B&B whatsoever. Thank you for a wonderful stay.

We had an excellent stay at the Taransay, 10 out of 10. Paul was very welcoming and helpful. The rooms were recently decorated and were very clean. The views out of the breakfast room were stunning. Taransay is slightly up on the from the main street where the other B&B's are but only 5 minute walk. Look forward to staying... More
