I must admit I'm surprised by some of the negative reviews here. Each to his/her own, but I've stayed in Corriegour several times and have never had a single bad or indifferent experience there. Yes, the decor might be a bit dated in some rooms, but it's an old highland hunting lodge for goodness sake - chic doesn't apply here!... more

We were drawn to this hotel by the ad. in the Visit Scotland brochure saying about the top food and lovely views. The food was good but overpriced we felt and the view was lovely but the picture does not take into account the main A82 (which is a bit noisy) running between the hotel and the Loch. These things... more

This is only my second time writing a report on trip advisor, but I feel I need to put in writing the fabulous time my wife and I had in Scotland. Friends recommended the Corriegour Lodge Hotel at Spean Bridge, Fort William; we travelled on the 13th of September to Inverness Airport and drove the 53 miles to the hotel.... more

Had a wonderful stay at this small hotel where nothing was too much trouble. Menu and catering were superb, good wine list and excellent service. Not cheap but worth every penny. more

Had been recommended to stay at the Hotel - not disappointed!!! It was great - although the entrance hall is a little dull - behind it is a lovely place fully of comfort, excellent service and just fabulous food. The dining hall overlooks the Loch and was beautifully set out - the food unexpectedly top class. It is a great... more

The hotel rooms are not worth the money. We did not eat at the restaurant, so I cannot comment on the food but I generally agree with the reviews regarding the rooms. The hotel is far too expensive for what it is. Upon check out we told the owner that it's too pricey and there was no reaction from him.... more

Yes, the food is really superb, outstanding. The staff - didn't see the owners - were helpful. But the rooms! At almost £200 a night you expect much, much better than this. They would be a bit expensive even at half the price. Definitely will never go back, despite the food more

We stayed here with our 2 children for 1 night. As with most of the other reviews posted here I agree food is seriously good, but at about £40 a head (£18 for the children), it should be. The view from the dining room is hard to match. The service was good. Simply a stunning dining experience. BUT the room... more

As a Scot living abroad I found this hotel to be wonderfully atmospheric and reminiscent of an old Scottish shooting lodge. The living room had wonderful overstuffed sofas (plumped up by the staff at frequent intervals) and the sun room dining area, although unusually hot due to the sun streaming in the windows, had views second to none. Mountains reaching... more
