We had high expectations for this hotel having read previous reviews and whilst there was no major problem there were some minor disappointments. 1. Location. It is very convenient for the ferry, being right by the jetty. However, you should be aware it is over £6 to cross each time. The views across the loch are beautiful but try to... more

My second stay at the Inn at Ardgour. Really fantastic place. Great to come off the ferry and be staying overlooking the loch. Friendly and welcoming owners and staff. The bar is populated not only by the guests but by the locals. A great selection of whisky. We thought that the food has stepped up in variety/ quality compared with... more

We stayed here for one night a week ago and I would definately stay again. Our room was spotless and spacious. Large bathroom clean and sparkling. Friendly staff. Relaxed atmosphere. Good choice of breakfast in the morning which is included in the price, I was stuffed afterwards! I would highly reccommend this place. more

We have no complaints from our stay here. It was inexpensive (for Scotland), and we had a good pub-style dinner and a filling breakfast that got us ready for the day ahead. We took the ferry ride over from Corran, spent a night in the bar listening to the wind bluster outside. Good way to spend an evening. Our room... more

We were travelling up to the Highlands and we wanted to break the journey so I booked up the Inn having checked the Tripadvisor reviews. All I can say is to reiterate what others have said. Fantastic views, comfortable clean rooms, really friendly staff and great food. I liked reading on the menu where the produce was sourced. We especially... more

Stayed here for one night in October. Friendly and helpful staff, comfortable and warm bedrooms, perfect views and excellent, home-cooked food. Amazingly good value for Dinner, Bed and Breakfast and even our 2 teenage boys liked it - surely a compliment! more

It was an adventure driving to the Inn at Ardgour because we chose to take a back road route instead of taking the ferry over from Fort William! Tiny, one lane roads are the only way to get there if you don’t take the ferry and other than a few houses and lots of sheep, there is nothing else on... more

This inn is a special place near Fort William that really appealed to our three young girls as well as us. The short ferry over was an adventure. The family room worked brilliantly for us and the hearty breakfast spurred the 9 and 7 year olds enough half-way up Ben Nevis on the last day (we're London based and not... more
