We had a wonderful time staying at the Hillview Guest House in July 2023. The house and gardens are immaculate, and the hosts are so welcoming and friendly. A lovely breakfast was served each morning, and the rooms are very comfortable and tastefully decorated, with the breakfast room and lounge having amazing views of Loch Linnhe and the Ardgour Hills. The weather was nice while we were there and it was good to relax in the garden at night watching the sun go down over the hills. I would highly recommend staying at The Hillview Guest House.

We are a couple of Twilight travelers who enjoy relaxation and comfort when we travel. We have stayed at the Hillview B&B on at least 6 occassions with our most recent visit departure on July 5th 2023. What keeps bringing us back to Hillview is the wonderful location overlooking Loch Linnie in Fort William. The building has an old world charm about it. It is impecably kept by the owners. The beds are spotless and very comfortable. The breakfast is delicious and everything is fresh local produce. The comfort and surroundings are only surpassed by the hospitality of the owners. We look forward to returning on our next visit in 2024. I have travelled worldwide on business before my retirement and rate the Hillview B&B as a special place to return to again and again. Thankyou once again for a lovely stay. See you in 2024 God willing. Mr & Mrs Greene

I had a lovely stay At the Hillview. After 20+ years Jane and Joe really know how to run the perfect B&B. The room was spotlessly clean with a very comfortable bed and en-suite bathroom. After departing the following morning following a substantial breakfast, I realised I had left my kindle behind… no problem however as they very kindly mailed to me within the week. Highly recommended :)

We came across this delightful B&B when our other accommodation let us down at the last minute and would highly recommend it. Jane and Joe were so welcoming & are the perfect hosts. Nothing was too much trouble for them. The Guest House is immaculate and the rooms are very tastefully decorated with high end furnishings. The view from the bedrooms at the front of the property are breathtaking - waking up to the sun shining on the water is the best! The attention to detail didn't go unnoticed - little touches like decent sized mugs in the room instead of small cups was a welcome change with an ample supply of tea/coffee, milk & even Biscoff biscuits! The breakfast layout was impressive with a wide choice of cereals and cooked breakfast of your choice all served on lovely Portmerion tableware - even the little sugar spoons matched! The smell of fresh flowers in the lounge was much appreciated as was the lovely front garden and pots full of bedding plants. The rear garden also looks stunning from the photos although we didn't venture out the back as we only stayed for one night. You can tell a lot of love and attention is afforded to this accommodation and we can't wait to return and spend longer here. Thanks so much Jane and Joe for your hospitality - it was so lovely to meet you both - we could have talked for hours! Until the next time... Claire & Gez Thomas

I drove from Ayr. The views are truly stunning and I spent half of my journey getting out of the car to take it in and to take photo’s. The guesthouse sits overlooking Loch Linnhie. It’s quite something. In brief: Easy/free parking. Jane was really warm and welcoming on arrival. Lovely sitting area overlooking the loch. Quiet single room. Big bathroom. 5 mins drive to Fort William. Parking easy (£2 cost in town I think). Reasonable takeaways to take food back if you want to. Good night’s sleep. Lovely breakfast. Veggie options available. I had a lovely chat with Jane and her partner, over breakfast, that really made this feel like a warm and personal stay. Would defo stay again.

Stayed here when attending my son's graduation! It was perfect for us. Jane and Joe were friendly and accommodating to our needs. Very clean and well maintained with a great breakfast. Although not right in Fort William, and this might not suit everyone, we still managed to walk back easily and I much preferred being out of the town centre. Heartily recommend.

Very clean guest house, owners always welcoming, very friendly and accommodating. Great views of the Loch. About one mile from town centre so nice and quiet in the evenings. Will definitely return to Hill View.

What a lovely place! Jane is a wonderful host - so friendly and helpful. Our room had a lovely view of the Loch, and was spotless, with all the amenities you could want. The location is fantastic (including on site parking) to access restaurants and shops in Fort Willian, and, of course the Jacobite train. Jane helped us with directions for parking, and restaurant recommendations. Breakfast was perfect, and Jane even found a diet coke for me! Obviously I highly recommend this B&B - as I said, "look no further"
