This hotel is approx 15 miles from fort william and should not be allowed to advertise as being in fort william the receptionist was very unhelpful and in fact aggresive and asked us to leave as we had questioned why they are advertising as being in fortwillim as we had friends staying in fort william and were planing to met... more

Terrible experience at this location. My experience is being reported to Visit Scotland advising them of my visit and staff at this Hotel. Unfortunately received very poor customer service and the food was extremely disappointing. After complaining to staff members about the food, they dealt with this in a very unprofessional manner which was shocking. more

I am a Canadian school teacher and my wife and I have travelled extensively. We have just completed 3 weeks in Ireland and Scotland and I have NEVER ONCE complained about an establishment. Until now !! The Stronlossit Inn was , beyond a doubt, the very worst experience that we have encountered in our travels. It was over-priced to say... more

My family and i went for dinner here the other night with 2 children and couldn't believe the disgracefull attitude of the owner; we were made to feel like 2nd class citizens for having dared to come with children. I thought pehaps she had a personality disorder due to the fact that it seemed beyond her that i wanted to... more

We stayed for two day's. The welcome by the owner was warm. We had a very nice room, everything was in perfect condition, clean and well kept. The bathroom was a feast for the eye. The breakfast was good and the eveningmeals excellent. The staff from Romania could do with some lessons in English, but there were no problems. They... more

This has got to be the worst hotel in Lochaber. The staff are dismissive and the manager (?) was downright rude. The menu promises a great deal, but delivers nothing. The quality of the ingredients was dreadful, the service poor, and it was all very poorly prepared. The Mussels were an all-time low, apparantly microwaved and served in some sort... more

We were made to feel very unwelcome as there was new furnishings and upholstery in the bar, which they didn't want the ( I must say well behaved ) children anywhere near. We visit that area a lot but will never darken that doorstep agiain, which is a pity because it is... more

We booked online prior to reading the reviews. Really glad we didn't take any notice of the negative comments! Our experience of this hotel was a very good one. We arrived on Thursday evening ater 7pm and was immediately welcomed into the hotel by two very pleasant members of staff. Our room was not luxurious, but as a 2 star... more
