This little husband and wife owned hotel is rated 2 stars by the AA and 3 by the Scottish Tourist Board. Were there star ratings for friendliness, Ina would be awarded 6. Keiron already has a well-deserved 2 rosette award for his cooking. Mine was a brief stay of one night, the first I had spent in a single room... more

We received a warm welcome before we had even entered the building! Ina made us feel very welcome and called us by our christian names which created a very comfortable and informal atmosphere. We had booked the Stewart Room which was just perfect. It was traditionally styled and had all the mod cons you would expect. Although I had ordered... more

A truly wonderful place we called home for four days - Hosts Ian and Kieron Kelly make you feel like part of the family and their sons will entertain you musically!! Great location to base yourself as you sight see around this beautiful part of Scotland. Food, wine company could not fault - thank you so much Ina and Kieron more

This is the third time my husband and I have stayed at The Prince's House. The first was our honeymoon in May 2006 and we've loved it ever since. Ina and Kieron are both lovely people and between them they really make every stay a joy. We go to Scotland to relax and enjoy good walks, good food and wine,... more

I stayed four nights at this hotel and can recommend it in every way. The room was clean and decorated with excellent taste, the bar has great food and atmosphere, and the breakfast was consistently perfect. Also, the location has amazing scenery from the hotel and within just a few minutes walk there are several hiking areas that go through... more

We found this gem of a hotel quite by chance after needing a hotel which had a family room and would accept a dog. Finding a hotel that had a family room ended up being the hardest task, but the Prince's House had just what we needed. This hotel is owned and run by a lovely family who actually live... more

Reading other reviews, I feel like I visited a different hotel. The 'standard' room we were booked into felt like a cheap B&B (but c. £100 per night). It was tiny & poorly decorated. We were shown a superior room, but not allowed to stay in it as we had our dog with us. We cancelled our booking and moved... more

We are sorry that Ruby and family weren't able to stay with us but pleased that we were able to find them more suitable accommodation nearby. We regularly welcome visitors with dogs and do our best to accommodate them throughout the hotel. They are welcome in the bar area and our standard guest rooms, however, we do have to keep...

We discovered this place quite by chance. We had planned to book into accommodation in Fort William itself, but it was too busy for our liking. Thank goodness we found this hotel. Lovely owners, very comfortable rooms, nice bar and wonderful food. We booked in B&B, but also decided to have dinner. The dinner menu was extensive and our choices... more

I was born and bred in the Highlands so was reluctant to stay in a hotel but my girlfriend wanted her first experience in the Highlands (she is Swedish) so I booked four nights in the Princes House. A superb hotel, the staff Ina and Kieron were very friendly. The rooms are cosy, have a colour TV with the five... more

Stayed at The Prince's House Hotel, Glenfinnan, for two nights pre-Easter, and was lucky enough to have good dry weather. We had bedroom No. 1 (which apparently is at the end of the plumbing line) but experienced no problems whatsoever with the water, even though there were other guest in the hotel. We stayed BB and evenng meal, and I... more
