I did not expect much reading the other reviews. But we were pleasantly surprised ! We got room No. 25, which seemed to be on a floor that is recently renovated. It looked out onto the Loch, was spacious and clean. The staff were quite friendly and helpful. When we missed the remote control for the TV, the manager came... more

We stayed in this Hotel in January 2008. The Hotel seemed okay and the room reasonable. However, after we had checked in, I noticed something on the bed, and on closer inspection discovered bed bugs. I immediately went down to reception and reported my find. No apologie, and very little to say on the matter. We were given another room.That... more

Took my 92 year old mother for Christmas. Never again, the food was terrible. Short staffed and those who were on duty had little knowledge of how we British celebrate the festive season. No leadership of staff as the manager took Christmas off. Do your self a favour and give it a miss, unless you like carrots at every meal! more

We stayed for 2 nights, Saturday and Sunday in room 31. I wouldn't stay here again. The long weekend was supposed to be a treat for my wife's birthday. The room was small and shabby, and looked out on the back of a shabby hotel across the street. The door hook was missing which could easily have been replaced. The... more

The original room we booked had previously been used by smokers - is this not now banned? We were unaware of this and were not made aware at the time of booking. The shower did not work, eventually, after 3 complaints we were moved to a(non-smoking) room. One guess regarding the shower! Well it worked, but the temperature control did... more

Stayed two nights which cost a lot of money. Didn't get the room we booked through the net. Thought i was booking something special for our wedding anniversary but the pictures on the net where the wrong one for the prices displayed so ended up in a sub standard boxroom instead. First night had to move rooms as headboard fell... more

We got to the hotel three hours prior to the designated check-in time and they kindly cleaned our room and got it ready in 20 minutes. Very friendly bar area with casual environment and very kid friendly. Food was excellent and staff was very friendly. No lifts/elevators so be aware of carrying luggage upstairs. The shower was not ideal but... more

My boyfriend and I checked into Best Western Imperial Hotel in Fort Williams for 1 night after driving around - not much choice really as the other one in the town centre was closed. Anyway, service at the reception was warm and efficient. Got us our room really quick. We got a double room. It was a bit dim for... more
