The original room we booked had previously been used by smokers - is this not now banned? We were unaware of this and were not made aware at the time of booking. The shower did not work, eventually, after 3 complaints we were moved to a(non-smoking) room. One guess regarding the shower! Well it worked, but the temperature control did... more

Stayed two nights which cost a lot of money. Didn't get the room we booked through the net. Thought i was booking something special for our wedding anniversary but the pictures on the net where the wrong one for the prices displayed so ended up in a sub standard boxroom instead. First night had to move rooms as headboard fell... more

We got to the hotel three hours prior to the designated check-in time and they kindly cleaned our room and got it ready in 20 minutes. Very friendly bar area with casual environment and very kid friendly. Food was excellent and staff was very friendly. No lifts/elevators so be aware of carrying luggage upstairs. The shower was not ideal but... more

My boyfriend and I checked into Best Western Imperial Hotel in Fort Williams for 1 night after driving around - not much choice really as the other one in the town centre was closed. Anyway, service at the reception was warm and efficient. Got us our room really quick. We got a double room. It was a bit dim for... more

Having seen past reviews I was concerned about my enforced stay here however it was not that bad. Reception was quick as we had booked in advance, the receptionist was a tad surly and a smile would not have gone amiss, unles she really did find working there so terribel. After that it was off to the room. Yes, as... more

While our room was very small but satisfactory the bathroom was a horror in that the shower didn't work and we had to take baths! We ate dinner in the restaurant as it was pouring outside but in retrospect we should have trudged through the rain to find another restaurant. The waitstaff was clueless and slow and the food uninspired... more

Had a 2 night stay at this hotel which was truly awful earlier this month. The hotel was badly mananaged with a shortage of staff many of which had a difficulty in understanding English. There was a unpleasant smell in the public areas. The "Scottish" breakfast was a joke - cold leathery bacon, fried eggs like bullets, etc. One night... more

Can't tell about other rooms, but room 30 was a horror. Located a very long walk up a steep stairway, about the size of a double bed (nowhere to put a suitcase), with a tiny bathroom under a sloping roof that made taking a shower impossible, shabby furniture, bad smell... Never again! more
