This gorgeous little house is one of soooo many on the road along the Loch in Fort William. We stayed in the twin room with the private facilities and thought that the whole bed and breakfast was excellent value. My partner and I spent a wonderful two nights stay at Alt-An Lodge, The facilities provided were excellent. After a very warm welcome we were shown to our double room which was spacious,very clean and had wonderful views. Breakfast was excellent with a very good selection. Margaret was very friendlly and helpful. We hope to return later in the year. More

This place was rated with three stars but proved the least acceptable out of the B&B accomodation with the same rating that we stayed at in Scotland. With so many places to visit for the avid climber, and historic sights to see for the true tourist, it's nice to know you can relax at Alt-An-Lodge at the end of the day. Exquisite and homely..Margaret and Trevor are lovely and so very helpful..The food was excellent as were the magnificent views of the Loch from our bedroom window...despite the rain..the sunset over the mountains was beautiful...Crofters pub do a fab home-made soup and several traditional meals...and Ben Nevis...is a must!!
