Located at the foot of Ben Nevis, Glen Nevis campsite is a great place to pitch up for your trudge up the UK's tallest mountain. It's true that it's not cheap. We paid an extra £10 "Administration charge" to reserve a pitch on the Bank holiday weekend. But by god it's worth it. The facilities were clean and not smelly... more

Beautifully located campsite - close enough to Fort William for supplies but far enough out of the centre to be quite. Facilities kept very clean and site staff very friendly. we have stayed at this campsite at least once a year for the last 3 years. The prices are very fair considering the location and facilaties. The pitches are really big and well maintained. The facilities are extremly clean and kept well. We have a large family group who all go, we take our dogs and they loved every miniute.... more

Found this to be an excellent site and great scenery, Pitches were well-spaced and you generally can pick your own, rather than being allocated one! Plus points: Shower facilities best I've encountered - spotless, plentiful and well-designed - including an elevated "dry area" in the showers to get your feet dry! Fab camping site with good facilities, love the location and its such a nice atmosphere here with most people being hillwalking types!! And/or families, have camped here on several occassions and always happy days!! It can get very busy so I dont think the cost is a deterrent for most. Only one thing.. I hope they get midge eaters in... more
