Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Excellent location with amazing views of Ben Nevis. Plenty to walk to. But was not impressed with the attitude of the staff. By far the least attentive and purely “job” like attitude of all the campsites i met. Decent spares shop. Mobile food place is expensive and limited. Toilet blocks were from the carry on movie at the end we stayed. Go for the location and view. Make your own arrangements.

I stayed at the Glen Nevis site in Oct 23 in one of their luxury 1 bed cottages and had a fantasic time there. The location is superb and it has easy access to all of the local walks or mtb trails. i was lucky with the weather as it stayed relatively settled throughout, so I had gorgeous views most days. The cottage itself was very well equiped for self catering, and the decor was first class with every looking very new, so a recent refurb was evident. One big plus was the peace and quiet throughout my stay...bliss! Thank you for a wonderful experience, I'll be back.

This is a really beautiful campsite and our 2nd visit here. Our only criticism is the dog exercise area next to the Homefield area which is not secure as the gate leading to the main road is chained open and can't be closed. This means that it not safe to let dogs off the lead to play as the field is very close to the main road. This was quite disappointing as last year we were able to close the gate. Its clearly a decision by the owners to chain the gate which is strange given they promote being dog friendly and have a designated dog exercise area. There is another area to the far right of the site. Its not secure either but is further away from the road

Nice large campsite, set out on large individually named fields. Plenty of space between pitches so no cramped feeling, nice clean facilities and well lit. Found a path at the edge of the site which leads to the local pub. Would happily re visit this site.

I was in awe of the beauty of the surroundings of this holiday park. It is absolutely serene and mystical with the clouds coming down over the mountains. The 3-bed superior caravan is just perfect, with everything you could possibly want. They are clean, comfortable, cosy and perfect size for up to 6 people. Only 3 of us stayed so we had a bedroom each. I can't tell you how impressed I was with the caravan - they are excellent. It was like home from home. Great it had 2 toilets as well :) We used this as our base as we had planned to climb Ben Nevis and the start was just 0.5 miles away. Then we were also close to Glen Finnan where the amazing Jacobite makes 4 trips across the viaduct each day, and it gave me goosebumps to watch the Hogwart express go by. It is also so close to Fort William where there is a Morrisons for convenience. There were also a couple of highland coos in the field next to our caravan - totally wonderful and I can't wait to return.

Glen Nevis Campsite is a spacious campsite situated alongside the mighty Ben Nevis. I found ample amount of options to locate my tent along with plenty of clean facilities. Staff at check in, the store and the cafe were friendly. I can highly recommend the Bacon & Egg breakfast rolls. Would recommend to anyone wishing to spend some time camping next to this incredible natural landmark.

Being about a mile outside Fort William the holiday park is lovely and quiet in an excellent location. The homes are in groups of 6-8 but well spaced apart. Accommodation is basic (very clean and tidy) with all you need. As you step out of your home in the morning you have the brooding mountains either side of you and the sound birds (which you are encouraged to feed) in your ears. Lovely big front window allows you to see the grounds and bird feeder. While we didn’t eat in the site restaurant, but did have a drink. It’s a nice place to stop and the food looked good. Plenty of supermarkets nearby. In all a very nice base to stay

It's a good site if you just want to walk. Plenty of shower's. Shop and restaurant on site but quite expensive and dated. It opens at 3pm. The cable car's are 5 miles away so you'd need a taxi or drive there. The town is over 2 miles away and not suitable to walk to. It was £10 each way in a taxi. The best thing about the town was the Wetherspoons. Fort William is run down.

This site is in an amazing location and this was our second stay on this site. On this occasion we felt the site was a bit tatty looking. There was a sock, bottle tops and a dog poo on the grass behind our pitch which was not what we would have expected.
