Myself and 9 of my friends stayed for 2 nights as a base for climbing Ben Nevis. The rooms were clean & the beds comfortable. There is a nice tv area as well as a quiet lounge and kitchen area. The staff were very friendly and we had a great laugh. Ten out of ten. more

The very friendly & helpful owner happened to be there during our stay. During our 4-night stay, we were in different rooms. Mixed 8-bed dorm abit too cramped, other types are just fine. Bathrooms clean but the drainage in one of them is not too good - flooding when showering. Free Wi-Fi, tea, parking, quiet location... we did enjoy our... more

A group of 36 of us stayed in this hostel before we did the 3 Peaks challenge the next day. We were in need of a good night's sleep and that's just we got. What a find. This is a brill hostel near the caledonian Canal and theres great views of Ben Nevis. It's run by 2 New Zealanders. Wow! Ther cool and laid back dudes!
