The River Coe lodge is the most tranquil place I have ever stayed in!

As you walk in, you are welcomed by Peter and his huge smiling face and wonderful personality.
He showed us to our room, which was so peaceful and beautiful, I could have fallen asleep there and then!

The room overlooks the River, and you get the peaceful sounds of the water to sooth you to sleep, and welcome you in the mornings.

We found out that when it rains in Scotland, it Pours.
Thankfully we were sheltered by the rain, so we sat out reading our mags and watching the river rise (which I must admit, didn't take long at all!) and as it got higher, the roar of the river got louder, it was such a wonderful sight!


Peter will welcome you into his lounge, where you can watch TV, sip wine, whisky, or whatever else takes your fancy, and look at wonderful pictures of Peter's past on the walls.

On a mountain bike tour of the West Highland Way, we detoured into Glencoe staying two nights at the River Coe Lodge. We had a wonderful large room with excellent bathroom and huge windows, door and deck facing the River Coe. Stunning views. Ate excellent meals at the onsite restaurant (our first haggis and my husband recommends the Fraoch beer made from heather and Peter's amazing tales. Would have stayed for many more days but the cycling was calling to us...
