Stayed here as a party of 4 adults and 2 kids, as part of a groupon deal. Paid extra for kids and weekend, but you expect to with these deals. We were allocated lodge 1. The booking process was easy, and even although we cancelled our first booking, the owners were helpfully and accommodating. The lodge was spacious for us... More

My husband, myself and our dog stayed at birchbrae lodges for two nights last weekend. Our every need had been considered and everything we may have needed was at our finger tips. They have pit together a really handy folder full of ideas for days trips/walks/beaches etc. (we took the personal recommendation in the folder and found a beautiful beach... More

Just returned from a fantastic weekend at Birchbrae. The lodge was first class. The owner John has clearly thought of everything… they were extremely clean and comfortable, there was a very useful guide book (what to do if…, food recommendations & sample menus as well as places to visit) and we also made good use of the DVD and games... We travelled up on 11th Feb, for a 2 night stay, with our two kids, and our dog. We had stayed here before so knew what to expect, but never the less we were blown away again by the Lodges, so clean, tidy and well maintained, everything we needed was already there, bar our food and drink. This is obviously... More

stayed at cabin 4 recently. v well equipped, comfortable and warm. John - owner is very nice and helpful. Lots to see nearby. Ardgour inn doesn't open till 4.00pm winter so can't comment. Went for luch and missed out - still got a free min-cruise. Four seasons bistro nearby but limited menu. Fort william seems to be suffering but the... More

We went here at end of January for 4 nights and stayed in Lodge 2. Very clean and tidy and had everything you need. Would have been good to have had a docking station for the iphone for music but apart from that cant say a bad word about it. Beds were very comfortable and we slept well every night.... More

We are just back from an amazing 2 nite stay through 5pm deal! Husband, 4 year old daughter and I had a brilliant time. Just over 2 hours drive from Glasgow! The scenery was stunning! Couldnt fault the lodge we stayed in, No 4 at the end next to woods and little stream. All you needed to bring was your... More
