We stayed at the Westhaven B&B for one night. We only met Rose and she was really helpful and nice. The room was clean and nice. The Breakfast was good. To be honest: if we had read the reviews before our booking at Westhaven, we certainly would not have stayed there!! But, as written below, we can't complain. more

My family and I booked for 3 nights at Westhaven. We googled Westhaven to get the directions two days before arriving and found Tripadvisors site and read the negative comments. We were a bit dubious and put off about the comments and it was to late to cancel the booking . On arrival we were greeted by the owners (Richard... more

We stayed here for one night whilst visiting Fort William and surrounding areas. rose was welcoming and showed us to a large bedroom with views over the loch which were stunning. We even got picked up by the owners late at night after our evening meal and a couple of drinks in town. A welcome change from looking for a... more

Clean and well equipped room with the most gorgeous view. Proprietors were friendly and helpful and went out of their way to "point us in the right direction" when looking for a restaurant. Breakfast was delicious and we couldn;t recommend this place more. more

We stayed for three nights at the Westhaven. The owners Rose & Richard could not have been more welcoming. The purpose of our visit was to bag Ben Nevis. Rose took our car registration number and asked when we could be expected back. We are experienced Munro baggers and have never been asked this before. You can never take the... more

Please do not stay at this B&B, I find it amazing it is stilla llowed to trade and has 4 stars! Each year Fort William hosts the Mountain Bike World Cup at the Nevis range. My colleague and I arrrived at the Westhaven at 10am to leave our bags as we knew the check in time was later. The lady... more

I called in advance to request early check in as suggested on the website. The owner said that we should be able to check in 2 hours early. On arrival, he would not let us check in until 4pm. His attitude seemed to be that we were inconveniencing him with our presence. When we asked his wife about breakfast etc... more

Our initial experience with the couple who own the Westhaven was adequate. Although they would not allow us to check in early, they picked up our luggage from the train station and later on in the day picked us up from the town centre and took us to the Westhaven bed & Breakfast. On arrival Rose Sliwinski informed us that... more

The B&B itself is beautiful with a great location but this is the only good thing I can say about it. First, we thought it was strange when the owners charged my credit card with the full amount several days BEFORE we even arrived and BEFORE the cancellation period expired (none of the other B&Bs we visited in Scotland did... more

This B&B has clean rooms and a nice view, but the ownership negated all of this and then some. I could list many rude and unwelcoming actions and comments, but will focus on only three of them. First, upon arriving around 1:30 (after a lengthy train ride from glasgow and a taxi ride to the B&B), the male co-owner was... more
