spent one night on a quick train trip from Cornwall via London and Inverness returning via Armadale, Malliag and London then back home. The hotel at Kyleakin which from your site appeared the best bet was closed so booked ahead at Kyle of Lochalsh hotel. One of best memories of touring Scotland will be sitting outside this hotel in brilliant sunshine and supping a pint of lager on a picnic bench gazing over to the Isle of Skye with boats moored alongside the hotel.
