Room was clean although a bit dull and could do with a makeover. Staff very friendly and helpful. Evening meal and breakfast enjoyable. For the money it is good value. Easy parking at the rear of the hotel with access directly into the second floor.

Disappointing is what describes our recent stay. Had a 2 night stay at the Kyle hotel and just returned today. Room was clean and had a King size bed. the bathroom was clean with plenty towels. Stayed here with work and a colleague. Basic single room with breakfast was £53. Room was basic and a bit tired but comfortable. Breakfast was really good. No frills, does the job, it could do with a bit of modernisation. Bar looks tatty and threadbare but served good Guinness. Great stop off in the western country.
