Stayed for one night in October on our honeymoon. Had a good stay in a clean room with a nice bathroom. The hotel has a nice pub style restaurant and very friendly staff. Great views from the breakfast room. Just moments from Skye. Would recommend this place. more

I stayed at the Tingle Creek Hotel with my husband and parents for five days in August. When we arrived at the hotel we were pleased to see the excellent views across to Skye and some of the smaller islands. We had two of the double sea view rooms which were clean and comfortable. This is a family run hotel... more

We were greeted warmly and efficiently. Our room was clean, comfortable, well equipped with a great view of the sea. Free WiFi is provided, which to us was a real benefit. The bar was comfortable, friendly, and served an excellent real ale. The evening meal and breakfast were both excellent as were the decor and ambience of the restaurant. We... more

This place is unlike any hotel I have stayed at anywhere in the world. Six of us on motorcycles stayed there for a week and we did not want to leave at the end of it. Natalie was too sweet the way she looked after us during our stay. She has got to be one of the loveliest and sincerest... more

Stayed here two nights last weekend. We had booked late so stayed in a room at the rear which was described as looking to the trees rather than to the sea. In fact it looked to the car park and was above the kitchen. Once the kitchen closed, the washing up was finished and the extractor fans were turned off,... more

I made last minute plans to visit the West Highlands and was unsure where to stay. I decided to stay close to Plockton and the Isle of Skye. There were no available hotels or B&B's in Plockton for the dates I wanted so I selected to stay at the Tingle Creek Hotel because the reviews were pretty good (and the... more

We arrived at Tingle Creek after a lovely private drive tour around Skye and were treated to a wonderful tale about how the place got its name, as the driver had known the prior owner of the then house. Do ask the hosts to tell you the story! Our room was on the 1st floor (2nd floor American) and treated... more

Staff very pleasant however they seem a bit rushed. Dinner was okay - it was very expensive for what we got. Would recommend Plockton village as there is more choice. Rooms fine, very clean unfortunately could here the room's next door TV loud and clear. Breakfast very good. Hotel reception / dinning room could be with an update felt a... more

Hotel is in a lovely position and the view is fantastic, the weather was beautiful so we had our evening meal out on the decking with the sun reflecting off the sea. We were travelling with our pet and this was not a problem, the only area she was not allowed in was the dining room. We had a warm... more

We are two young oldies who wanted to do Michael Palin's favourite Train Journey in the World (Inverness to Kyle - and, for us later, Malaig south to Glasgow). We read the reviews of the local hotels in Kyle and chose Tingle Creek. We were not disappointed. We were collected from the Station and were treated as "VIPs but belonging... more
