My partner Margaret and myself stayed at Ceol na mara for 3 nights from 4th August. As if the view across Loch Duich was not enough, our room ( King ) was very comfortable, spotless and had a beautifully renovated, super-sized bathroom and shower. Host was good to pick us up at the train station. Great breakfast, hospitality. Stayed 2 nights, beautiful views, and Charles Rennie MacIntosh touches around the rooms and dining room were delightful and classy. I would definitely stay here again. Lovingly restored, immaculately kept, comfy and homelike, stunning view, friendly owners, and reasonably priced. We stayed at many places during our trip, and even the 'high end' places didn't hold a candle to this one. Great location for so many tourist and historical sites, as well. We stayed in Ceol Na Mara for one overnight and were delighted. The owners were very friendly. The location is beautiful and so handy to tour around. So near many of my favourite Highland places :Eilan Donan Castle, the wonderfully scary Applecross road, Plockton etc... I particularly enjoyed the breakfast of Salmon and scrambled eggs! Stayed here one night in King Room.We were collected from the train station and dropped back there the following day.Wonderful views from comfy chairs in the bay window .Fabulous en suite bathroom.Great breakfast in the morning.friendly welcome.Ideal if touring.Top Marks!
