We spent five days at Ceol Na Mara B+B in the "King Room" with a fantastic view across Loch Alsh and the mountains beyond. Simply wonderful. Ross and Jayne are kind and helpful hosts so we felt very comfortable. Ross told us a lot of the history of the North West Highlands and we learned much about bagpipes which he... more

Such a great surprise to arrive at a Scottish bed & breakfast and not be disappointed by anything! The couple that run this B&B are brilliant hosts. They gave us great advice about where to visit, where to eat and where to find local music at nights. We stayed in the King Size room which was perfect, but the bathroom... more

I am writing this review almost a year after me and my wife's stay here; that itself speaks of how memorable it was. Being foreign tourists (from pakistan), for us, Ceol Na Mara became the ideal place to form our base, and visit the isle, as well as eilean donan, Plockton, and surronding areas. Plus, one gets a great view... more

My partner Margaret and myself stayed at Ceol na mara for 3 nights from 4th August. As if the view across Loch Duich was not enough, our room ( King ) was very comfortable, spotless and had a beautifully renovated, super-sized bathroom and shower. The decor generally was charming, with much evidence of the Rennie Maclintosh style, which was nice.... more

We only had 2 nights to spend at Ceol na mara and it wasn't long enough! The location is a wonderful one for exploring all of the Isle of Skye. We did not get to see everything and probably needed another two or three days. Jayne and Ross provided a lovely base for our explorations. The breakfasts were terrific and... more

We stayed here for a few days last year and were so bowled over by the great welcome from Jayne and Ross that we booked again this year without hesitation. The room was immaculate and the breakfasts excellent, especially the scrambled eggs and smoked salmon. Jayne and Ross are without doubt the nicest, friendliest and most helpful of hosts and... more

Host was good to pick us up at the train station. Great breakfast, hospitality. Stayed 2 nights, beautiful views, and Charles Rennie MacIntosh touches around the rooms and dining room were delightful and classy. I would definitely stay here again. I slept like a baby with the windows open towards the loch. Fantastic! more

Lovingly restored, immaculately kept, comfy and homelike, stunning view, friendly owners, and reasonably priced. We stayed at many places during our trip, and even the 'high end' places didn't hold a candle to this one. Great location for so many tourist and historical sites, as well. If you like to connect to the real Scotland and not just the hype... more

We stayed in Ceol Na Mara for one overnight and were delighted. The owners were very friendly. The location is beautiful and so handy to tour around. So near many of my favourite Highland places :Eilan Donan Castle, the wonderfully scary Applecross road, Plockton etc... I particularly enjoyed the breakfast of Salmon and scrambled eggs! Definitely an address to remember... more
