We stayed at the Glenmoriston for one night on a walking holiday. We wished we could have stayed longer. The owner and staff were nothing short of wonderful. They were so welcoming and friendly. The rooms were fine - very comfortable and warm. The food was great - all in all a real gem! more

New owners as of April 2009, and after reading past reviews...this is great news for the hotel. We got an awesome room for 80 pounds and the owners couldn't be any nicer. The other recent reviews are correct. This hotel is now very good. Very friendly staff, excellent rooms. My twin room had a huge bathroom. Nice decoration and lots of little bits, soap, biscuits etc. Highly recommended. more

The new management, Paul and Sue, and their team have transformed the atmosphere of this hotel since our visit last year. Excellent food, very friendly hosts and efficient staff, charming rooms in a historic building, set in a beatiful rural location close to Loch Ness. Stayed here again for the first time in a couple of years and have to agree with comments about the previous management....the new management certainly make you feel welcome and the atmosphere has changed a great deal from the priggish attitude that was instilled previously.
